This coloring book is so freaking beautiful! I love that it's hardcover and spiral bound. It was worth the money spent. There are several beautifully hand drawn images. They are all very unique and beautiful scenery. I have never been more pleased with a coloring book. The different themes/scenes are amazing, some upscale and high quality as well. The paper is good quality; it's more of a harder paper than the standard coloring books. however there is bleeding through the pages if using gel ink pens, alcohol pens, or markers. Bleeding not that bad with gel pens. It won't bleed onto the next coloring page but if you use alcohol pens or markers, it might bleed. Please put down a piece of really thick paper or 2-4 sheets of regular paper to prevent bleeding. I would say this book is more suited for teens and adults because there are many intricate details. An advanced colorist would appreciate this book. I now have a nice coloring book that will keep me entertained and relaxed for several hours. Color It has amazing products! In addition to their books, I have purchased their gel ink pens as well. I love their gel ink pens. I am a bit new to adult coloring books and I appreciate having high-quality gel ink pens. Their gel pens are of high quality.

I love this book and it’s in my top 5 favorites. I color as a hobby and use alcohol markers in my pages and this book handles markers very well. The pages are thick quality paper and all images are different and unique. I provided some pictures, one I colored in already and some blank pages, just to give an idea of the kind of art in the book. All the Colorit books have this same thick, smooth, quality paper so if this book isn’t your preferred art style then you can check out the other books ColorIt has to offer as well. The spiral bound is fantastic since it allows you to easily tear out your coloring pages to either color outside of the book, give to someone, or frame. Definitely worth every penny! 10/10 would recommend to beginner and expert colorists.

I'm an avid coloring book collector, and have perhaps 20 of various types and price points. I love coloring to relax. Have practiced this hobby as a de-stress tool since fall 2015. Pros: -- Spiral-type binding (easier to work on, without bending the other pages) -- Cardboard backing, to make for easier coloring while out and about -- Images have clear lines -- Images printed only on one side of each page -- Really appreciate the diverse, pretty, and interesting images (beautiful gardens, rooms, lighthouse, cats resting and cuddling, close-ups of fun foods such as tea party cakes and a wine picnic, parrots in jungle foliage, images of wild animals, etc.) -- The images overall aren't terribly complicated, in terms of the elements aren't overly small. I like more detailed images, but not ones with complex tiny parts. To me, this is a perfect balance of engaging and interesting, but without seeming like "work" to focus on. -- The images are so pretty, that honestly I've entertained the idea of framing them. Pretty cool. Cons: -- None! Highly, highly recommend.

I love this coloring book! It is perfect. The pages are thick almost like card stock, are one sided, and are perforated! I honestly don’t rip them out though (but I still love having the option to be able to) because I really like having all the pages remain in place for when I color all the other pages. Basically it makes for a sturdy coloring pad. I can just sit anywhere and color without anything underneath. I use prismacolor premier pencils which work great with this type of paper, you could also use markers without any bleed through. The drawings are absolutely gorgeous too! I love outdoors and anything nature. I also like that the lines are a little thicker because at times I struggle to stay inside them with other books. Yes they are a little pricier than other coloring books but I can totally see why. You pay for quality and these are worth every penny! I plan on buying more Colorit books in the near future, I have truly fallen in love!

It's a good value. You get lots of nice coloring for the price. The pictures are pretty and varied. I'm new to coloring. This was my first book. I bought a second book that has less coloring on each page. Which works best for me. Some of these pages were a little overwhelming with so much to color. But a very nice book:)

Colorit creators got EVERYTHING RIGHT in making these great coloring books! Heavier paper eliminates the paper warping when wet coloring mediums, like pens, water colors, or marked are used. Each tablet provides a heavy piece of paper to use between pages to prevent any bleed through that might occur. The designs, in my opinion, are just right, not too simplistic, and not overly detailed. They are perfect for all ages of coloring enthusiasts. The designs are large, encompassing the whole page, so you get a lot to color without a lot of white space left over. This also is perfect for older folks whose eyesight is not as sharp as it once was, or youngsters who need a large design without a lot of fine, tiny detail. There are 50 actual coloring pages. At the back of the tablet are several pages of the completed designs in case you might wonder what an object is in the designs. The spiral binding is at the top, as well as nice perforation, making removal of the paper a breeze without ruining the page. The paper itself is just slightly less heavy than 100 weight card stock so the sturdiness is really a bonus as you work, plus it makes a nicer keepsake of your coloring for framing or storing. Honestly, I can't imagine a better combination of meeting the needs of most colorists than Colorit has come up with. The $15.99 may seem like more than average coloring books cost, but when you get one of these great coloring tablets, you immediately know it's money well spent!

ColorIt always has the best quality books with great quality paper texture and designs. Many of the designs in this book are very detailed and/or have a lot of details...if you like that. And great paper for markers.

Another winner for ColorIt Coloring Books for Adults. I also like that there is some diversity of scenes to choose from. Some represent lazy day lounging. Others make you want to pick up your binoculars and go birding while others encourage you to pack a picnic basket and invite your friends over. There are lots of birds, butterflies, rabbits, squirrels, cats, dogs, cacti, veggies, flowers, ice cream sundaes and cupcakes that make for a potpourri of coloring options. KUDOS: The construction of this book, alone, makes it a great buy. The spiral binding makes for comfort in coloring. One can turn the book in any direction to make for at ease coloring. The drawings are printed, one per page, on thick, white, smooth paper which is perforated at the top. Gel pens work really well for many of the finely detailed spaces. Markers and brush pens are fun for the wider spaces. Most any media works o.k; however, some colored pencils, especially hard core ones, do not blend really well. Wet markers, gel pens, water color pencils with water brushes leave nice bold colors. The wet brushes over the water color pencils do cause initial puckering of the paper on the back side; however, the paper becomes smooth again when dry. Soft core colored pencils blend well, but some may be easily smeared such as Prismacolor Premier. Most of the smears can be fairly easily removed with a quality fine point eraser. Most illustrations are vertically placed on the page; however, a few are horizontal. Some designs completely fill the page, but others are centered on the page with borderless space surrounding the image. Lines are bold, narrow and well-defined. (.5-1mm in width) Most illustrations have a lot of detail; however, none are especially difficult. The detail makes for a lovely finished work of art. The covers, front and back, are stiff, sturdy cardboard which protects the inside pages. It also allows one to color when a hard surface is not available. Try taking this book to a Drs. Office waiting room and do some lap coloring. Discover the many conversation topics that you may incur! GRUMPS: The cover picture is not included. The animals seem too “little kid” looking to me. I would prefer more detail to their bodies; however, other colorists may appreciate the simplicity. CONCLUSION: I think inexperienced, as well as more advanced, colorists would enjoy this book because there are challenges for both with opportunities to use a variety of coloring tools.
