Excellent for my ten year old grandson.
Easy to follow and he has loved every page - it has really helped his accuracy and given him some inspiration for new paintings.

Excellent. Really enjoyed learning to draw the birds.

Besides statements like "find your own way" and "experiment with drawing tools" it talks a lot about perspective, grid drawing from photographs, and 9 step by step drawings to follow. Although I appreciate the studies of a few different feet (4) and beaks (10) they don't touch on feathered feet. And statements such as "birds are warm blooded invertebrates" and "wings have various types of feathers" with no further discussion are not helpful.
