Ticks begone as Lemon Sherbet Fills The Air
Ticks are driving us mad this year, it seems to be a bumper year for them. Harvey, our cocker spaniel, appeared to be getting a blood thirsty tick every time we took him out. Even though I’d check him when we got home, sometimes I’d miss one and in the morning you’d find a blood filled tick that had gorged itself on our baby throughout the night and the now pea sized evil that is the tick had to be removed. I purchased a seresto collar which has worked but we were still coming home with the odd tick. I then purchased this natural tick repellant which I spray behind his neck, above his tail and one spray on each side. It smells amazing with the essential oils filling your nose with what I describe as lemon sherbet, it’s delightful but obviously not so delightful to the ticks as we haven’t seen one on our boy since using this product. It’s so easy to use and such a lovely quality product, it’s not sticky and doesn’t make my spaniels coat clump which can be an issue with so many products. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is having pesky tick issues with their dogs.

Used regularly as a deterrent to back up regular medication from the vets.
I have bought this product a number of times. Although our dogs are given regular flea treatment (including anti-tick) I believe this spray deters ticks in the first place. It is easy to apply and does not smell of chemicals. I will continue to use this as a deterrent.

Definitely reduces tick number
4 stars since only been using for two days and although it has reduced the number of ticks our collies pick up I don't think it eliminates them all. That said, the dogs spend most of their time outside and their walks are in long grass where we often see deer so probably nothing would work completely. Love the lemon smell and the fine spray. Will probably be re ordering and by then maybe I can update the review.

Worked in Scotland!
Just returned with two Collies from a week on an island off the West Coast of Scotland where ticks are prevalent. We sprayed our collie daily with this, admittedly all over and underneath his belly, rather than just back of neck and tail area, whilst the other dog was sprayed with a competitors product. Both dogs were found with a few ticks on their fur but ours (treated with this product) has received no bites whereas on the other Collie it’s been an almost daily occurrence to remove ticks that have bitten. Smell is fine and the dog doesn’t seem to mind. Just shield their eyes from any spray as a little mist that blew in my own eyes suggests this might be a little uncomfortable (but was not painful).

Possibly works
I’m not sure about this tick repellent. It’s been a terrible year for them but it MAY have kept some of them away.

Stopped the ticks
I have a long haired gsd and some weeks I would regularly find 4+ engorged ticks around the house, been using this spray since July (now Oct) and thankfully haven't found any since, its strong smelling but not too overpowing, my husband sprays himself with it to keep the midges away, our dog is walked in a long grass area that is favoured by quite a few deer etc I don't think its a coincidence that since starting to use it the ticks aren't biting

Good product but arrived in a poor state!
This review is more about the state of how the product arrived which I'm not happy about. Straight away from the cardboard packaging I could see a couple of wet patches indicating the product had leaked. I opened the cardboard packaging and he bottle was actually packaged in a cellophane wrapper but this hadn't stopped the leaking and as you can see from the photos attached it had leaked so much all of the external writing had come off the bottle. Now I have bought this product previously and had no issue at all however it was in a different bottle which makes me wonder why they have changed packaging? (Previously i received this in a blue spray bottle) it's not great because if you wanted to know of the ingredients and other info then you can't because it's all wiped off. The product itself is good and I would say works yes, I use this on my dog before his walks at the bottoms of his legs and back but he still also has the tablet to prevent ticks. It smells nice but the fact this has been leaking means I've probably only got 3/4 of a bottle now!! Hope the company sorts this out... surely not that difficult to tighten the screw top!

It's works
I have a large 2 year old male German shepherd and a 14week old female German shepherd. Both are on a health plan through vet and treated monthly for fleas worms ticks We often spend hours on hikes through woodland grassland beaches etc however this year has been horrific for picking up ticks. Everytime we went on a walk they'd come back with ticks! Obviously the worry of them catching Lyme's decease etc I was willing to try anything. I ordered this in the hope it may work or at least they'd have fewer ticks. Was extremely pleased that it's does work! Not had a single tick since using this product. It smells like sherbet lemons which I love although the dogs don't as it makes them sneeze. But I think a wee sneeze is a small price to pay to remain tick free and not worry everytime they go near long grass or woodland that there going to pick up nasty wee blood sucking hitch hikers
