So handy for small lettering and the size is much better than a small round one. I love the handle and light options.

I have been using smaller hand-held magnifiers with handles and lights, but decided to try this one. It is excellet. It is much larger than the multiple magnifiers I have been using. The large size makes it much easier to use for reading newspapers and books. Eveh though it is large, it is light, much lighter than the smaller glass magnifiers I have been using. As much as I like glass in principle, in practice the plastic in this device is much better than glass for a hand-held magnifier of this size; if it were glass, it would be too heavy to comfortably hold. Other nice features: good illunimation (though I wish it had more levels of brightness), adjustable-angle handle, and 5x magnification (which is better for me than the 3x I have been using until now on other magnifiers). I wish this magnifier were rechargeable and not require changing batters, but overall the magnifier is excellent.

This is a great magnifier. The light is bright, can it's nice it can be switched from bright white to soft white depending on the situation. It is a bit cumbersome to hold this over a book unless you're sitting down at a table to read, but it magnifies really well.

This was an excellent purchase for a friend that is having retinal issues. She can use this to read labels, etc., that were too small for her to make out.

Absolutely brilliant. So good because it is rectangular and having lights it works a treat.

Pleased with it. Needs 3 x AAA batteries for the light which do not come with it. Great product for the money but it is plastic not glass.

Fantastic product. I bought it for my Mum so she can read, and it worked as soon as I installed the batteries and touched the power button. The LED lights are nice and clear, and the different brightness levels are decent as well. I highly recommend this.
