Cryptocurrency QuickStart Guide

Great book for learning about Crypto. I found it well balanced between technical and non-technical information. Love the video inserts to help mix up the learning media. I highly recommend this for people trying to understand the economic models of crypto, the history of crypto as well as the more technical information about how it works (which can be easily skipped if you like). I bought a couple of these for friends.

Good start to understand Crypto world

Before reading this book, I had no knowledge whatsoever about cryptocurrencies as I started reading through the book I learned about coins, tokens, decentralize systems. Everything you need to know about crypto NFT‘s futures and much more is in this book. The book is also extremely well structured has pictures and very detailed examples. It’s a must buy!

Dr. Jonathan Reichental is a superb writer whose books on smart cities and data governance have been a boon to those interested in such topics. With this book on cryptocurrencies, he has firmly established himself as a versatile author. Starting with the chapter on money, Dr. Reichental tells the story of cryptocurrencies, including the role of cryptography, popular cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, buying and trading in cryptocurrencies, regulations, the future, and more. The book is written for the novice and is very informative. It is presented with a neutral voice. It also has excellent information on major cryptocurrencies and valuable references and websites. This is a must-read guide for anyone interested in cryptocurrencies.

Although the author made every effort to simplify the subject, it still was extremely complex and difficult for a novice to grasp all of the moving parts. Why one can grasp how the value of fixed assets, such as stocks, gold or real estate or determined, it still became difficult after reading this book to determine how value is determined beyond supply and demand. With other investments, you can at least have a sense of the range over which the product may sell however, it seems that cryptocurrency is so volatile that one must really be a professional to enter this type investment.
