Osprey Ultralight

I bought this purely as a mini wallet whilst I'm out cycling. There are plenty of bigger wallets/pouches out there that can hold your mobile/keys and a few other bits, I just needed something very compact that can hold my key, some emergency cash and a credit card whilst I'm out on my bike or even running - this little pouch is perfect. It's waterproof from your exercise sweat but not if you put it under water as it is not airtight, but that is not a problem as I don't need it to be that waterproof. I was impressed with the build and quality, the zipper looks robust. Super light weight and extremely compact; if you are cyclist/runner like me and don't need a big pouch to throw in your phone, this is perfect. Even if you are not into sports, it has great practicality to be used as a small wallet which you can put into your pocket or handbag (the zipper does have a hook with it so you can securely attached it)

Just a well made pouch for cards, cash or small items. Not waterproof and not described as such, with no internal divisions.

it is what it is, an ultralight wallet/pouch.... not sure what else other people reviewing here were expecting, especially for 7 quid ! i just wanted a mini EDC pouch.... perfect.

What a stupid design. Its a drybag fabric with a waterproof zip, but its not stitched the whole way round meaning the waterproofing properties are pointless. Theres a 8mm gap either side of the waterproof zip ends! Its also ridiculously small. UK notes catch the zip, credit card entry is fiddly and has to be done at an angle with some care. As a coin or key purse its fine but not much else

Some of these reviews are ridiculous. First of all the size, do people not read measurements before purchasing. Secondly people sayings it’s too light, well do they read that it’s called ultralight. Thirdly people complaining about the quality, it’s made with durable nylon and YKK zippers which makes sure water will not get into this pouch. And lastly the price, £7 is very reasonable for this branded ultralight durable well made small pouch. If you haven’t read correctly the item description then just return the item which is simple to do and stop leaving 1 or 2 star reviews because you didn’t read the description or for some reason expected someting different to what you read. I’d recommend using this pouch for keeping money in or maybe medicine and leaving it in your main bag.

Usual quality Osprey product, strong light material and YKK zip. However, it's a lightweight pouch and is too flimsy for a wallet. Considering the amount of material used and a single zip, this is an over priced item when you compare to say a Osprey backpack.

Love the color and the product. However it is the size was too small and may not be as waterproof as I was hoping.

Ok for coins loose change etc

I always use this for outdoor activities just put DL CC debit card $20 bill in and go.

It got a hole in it after less than a year of usage

This is a great little pouch/wallet. I mainly use it to hold quarters to do the laundry. I have put up to 80 quarts in the pouch and it can withstand the weight and rolling around in a bag or sit in your pocket. Materials: (PLEASE READ) I know I saw previous reviews stating that the bag is too think and “feels cheap”. I disagree, after using the product it’s very durable and the material is a rip stop material that is designed to be lightweight. That’s the point of it if you are wanting to use this a a wallet, to be lightweight. I have had no issues of puncturing but if it ever does the design of the material stops and holes from getting any bigger hence, rip stop. The zipper are PU coded to help with water protection. I own several Osprey products from 40 L backpack, 15 L backpack, packing cubes (also rip stop material has held up with no issues for years), and other pouches. Osprey is a great brand and have never had an issue with their products. Zipper pull: I saw some people do not like the zipper pull stating it’s too big. I myself don’t mind the size because doesn’t change the feeling in the pocket. I find it makes easier for you to grab the pouch out of your pocket. My only con if you really want one is that there isn’t a different interior color. This is kinda snobby thing, I like brighter colors inside my pouches so it causes a highlight effect and able to see what’s in the pouch more clearly. Even a light grey would help. But I understand why they did it because it would add more weight to the pouch. Not many rip stop material products have a different interior material. But that’s more like splitting hairs. Overall: Great pouch/wallet. I highly recommend this product and I support Osprey as a company with good quality product.
