Sorry, I have finished the Jar and recycled it. It could have been made in the UK or in India (the ingredients are slightly different in the Indian version). If you happen to have an Indian Market anywhere close, you make try looking there first. In either case, Horlicks is a nice warm drink. Just make sure you keep the lid sealed or place a cracker in the Jar to absorb moisture otherwise it will go rockhard.

Have you noticed a difference in the newer product? It doesn't seem as strong as the Horlicks I purchased two years ago, but I don't have the package.

I never had the other version however I add a little more than they tell you to to my milk to make it a bit stronger

Yes, this is the kind of powder they used to add to milk, ice cream and syrup to make old fashioned malteds. Just don't overdo it until you find the amount that best pleases your taste buds.

Must this only be served hot?

Can be served hot as well as cold, it's just a little more difficult to dissolve in cold water so use room temperature water.

Just what you need

Lovely warming drink with a delicious malty taste. Should last a while too as its a decent sized tub and with milk you don’t need that much powder.

No malty taste

The taste. NO MALTY TASTE AT ALL. What a disappointment. I had been looking forward to receiving the Horlicks after many years not finding it in any supermarket. Now I know why - no one else thinks much about it either. It was so malty that if you left a jar half full for a few months it went hard. Very delicious if you could extract a lump.

Misrepresenting the product and selling it for higher cost is not a good business practice!

Ordered Horlicks 300g - while the delivered item has a bar code of 300g, as per manufacturer packaging the item is only 270g.
