I have long been a fan of Izzy Pludwinski's work, so I was particularly keen to obtain his book `Mastering Hebrew Calligraphy'. I was not disappointed. This is a beautiful and exciting book. Each time I open the book there is something new to learn and discover. It not only reads easily, but it is also very easy on the eye. It is full of good tips, clear instructions and inspirational ideas. It is a very practical book that contains fascinating and beautiful examples of what is going on in the world of Hebrew Calligraphy today, as well as showing and analysing many historical scripts. I particularly enjoyed the sections on `Going Wild' and combining Hebrew with English. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to all who love calligraphy.
