Great price and services from Amazon. It took me many years to cross over to Amazon after being an avid eBay shopper and was pleasantly surprised as to the service and the way I was treated. Amazon kept me briefed during the entire process and delivery. Same day delivery was awesome. Stone did not disappoint one bit when I got to to use it. Great Range of stones and it cuts the metal very, very well. Most disappointing thing was I was at home when the delivery guy came and the front door was open. He didn't even knock as he was to busy on the phone talking to a friend and he just threw the parcel onto the front step and just walked off. Being a Whetstone it was quite upsetting to see and hear my goods being tossed around that way. After such a great experience with the purchase and Amazon service the end was marred by the driver and his attitude. Hope he wakes up and pulls his socks up 5 Stars for the Great Quality Stone and Amazon Service but NO Stars for the driver

The Chosera 400 is fantastic all around, I love it's results: On certain alloys it can cut pretty quick on minor repairs/setting new bevels/thinning. It really isn't a heavy lifting COARSE stone for serious chip repairs major thinning - on certain metal alloys this stone can struggle to repair/rebevel. For very dull knives, this ceramic stone is perfect. It’ll give you a great edge on something beaten up / used and abused, but for big repairs, go to something lower grit, or something corundum or aluminum oxide. I'd even argue this one would fit better in the 'medium' stone category. It’s a softer ceramic stone that it builds up slurry/mud pretty quick and, if used correctly, can actually achieve a decent hair popping finish all by itself. It’s a perfect prep stone for any stone in the 800-3k range. It does dish/wear a little quicker than I'd like (needing to be flattened a fair bit), but honestly, I can say that could be my fault for using it on tougher tasks than I believe it was made for. 10/10, 5/5 stars, highly recommended!
