D'Addario Guitar Strings - Pro-Arte Classical Guitar Strings - EJ45C - Nylon Guitar Strings - Silver Plated Wrap, Composite Core, Clear Nylon Trebles - Normal Tension

I have used D'Addario EJ 26 for many years on my Ovation guitar, and find they give the best tone, for my ears. Tried these on my La Patrie "Concert" spanish style acoustic, and the tone is wonderful ! Sweet, rich & clear, and I think, worth the extra money.

I purchased these strings for preparation for my guitar exam and i am verry happy. They produce a vibrant and crisp sound with great projection. they sound great for the price i love them. However, they lose their longevity suffers as after 2-3 months of daily usage they start getting a chipped edge where they are layed on the frets. But for the price they are great compered to other brands which most of the time cost more and have a less projective sound. overall great product would recommend.

I've experimented with different makes and tensions.....and prefer the Pro Arte Hard Tension EJ46 Nylon Core .It comes down to the individual player in my opinion to try out the options. and different makes too. They all come in Light...Medium and Hard (High) Tensions......for most I would guess Normal tension would suit...BUT you need to try for yourself.

These seem fine but I do not have much to contrast them with. They settleed fine after a few days withy my Yamaha NCX900R. The were issues was the B string but that stiopped stretching after a few days. They give two G strings - old and new composite which is very stiff. The new seems fine. It gives a more even tone - maybe. Overall, the strings make the NCX900R sound much better - both acoustically and when electrified. The strings which it arrived with were used and abused via some German firm... These though are very good. I want to try other brands to over time.

Even though I've been playing for about 4 -5 years I don't consider myself an expert in anyway. However once I changed the strings I was totally surprised by how much the sound improved. So much more round and rich in tone. I'll definitely be buying then again. They are quite expensive, but if I'm willing to spend £5 on a pint why wouldn't I spent that much extra on guitar strings?

Playing classical guitar, often strings make a big difference and these are just that. They are ideal for classic guitar and produce a nice rich tone to the notes.

After leaving my classic guitar in the case without touched for years, I decided to change all strings with this package. I'm just a hobby guitar player, but I can easily tell how delicate and melodious sounds each string makes. I'm a happy man!

Product arrived without corrosion Inhibitor packet and the strings was corroded because of it. No contact supplier option either.

Great set of strings

Good strings, Basses are bright, trebles produce a more round tone, very good balance, have seen these strings being played for more than 8 months without much loss in the sound quality. Remember the "Hard" word though :-) Update on 17 Jul 2016: I bought these again. They are great for practice, lasts very long and retains the good sound almost till the end. Update 4 Aug 2021: bought a few set over the last 5 years. Still using this. Recently bought from seller ' Acoustic World' in a very reasonable pricing. Authentic product as checked from D'addario play real website. This strings sound better than the stock Savarez on my Cordoba C5 imho, I know it will last much much longer and you won't need to tune the guitar everytime you sit to practice. EJ46 retains the tuning longer. Overall my favourite strings for practice. I love the sound. Anything below this will probably let you and your guitar down.

Proporcionan un buen sonido

Très bonnes cordes. La Sol apporte un peu plus. Son plus homogène dans les aigus. Très bien pour une table en epicéa.

Dieser Saitensatz hat zwei G-Saiten. Die sog. Compound-Saite klingt besser als die normale Nylonsaite.
