StickElite Professional Porous Athletic Tape - 15yd x 1.5"

I use this tape for this tape for wrapping my thumbs for barbell lifting in the gym. My left thumb has poor mobility from a pre-existing injury, so I need to tape it to reduce skin friction/slipping even when using a mixed grip on the bar. I don't think that's the most common use for this tape, it reminds me more of the kind of tape that I've seen used for wrapping the toe/blade on hockey sticks etc. The tape is relatively thick cotton type tape that has a strong adhesive but the fabric feels more like cloth/clothing than a plaster or bandage, it is closely woven and is not stretchable. It is quite different from the softer stretchier tape often used for thumb wrapping, but I find those less good since the stretch means they can pull away more easily from your skin under load. This on the other hand stays put. It also cuts to size very easily. If I had one criticism for the tape, in this usage at least, it would be that the surface is relatively smooth and non-grippy. It doesn't provide as good a grip as some other tapes for this reason.

I use this tape to save getting blisters on the driving range. My daughter used it to prevent heel blisters with her new school shoes. It works a treat and will last for ages.

This product helps you train a little if you may be experiencing a little muscle pain very use full if you want to do some light weight training to keep your fitness up and protect your slight certain muscle injury

Great value for money but the tape wasent that black is it shows in the images, more like a very very dark blue

Use it for wrapping my wrist to prevent them from getting injured and blisters. This size is not the best for wrapping toes or fingers, I would go the size smaller, but for wrapping ankles or wrist etc. This is ideal.

This stuff it wonderful. I am not a professional Athletic, I am a horse rider-just spend a week in Iceland riding on beaches in long rubber boots, Stickelite is the best product I have used in the 17 years of doing this for stopping 'rubs' and sores caused by the boots-after long rides, some with 'bootfulls' of water. In the past have used the various foam tapes. Its also easy to use-dont cut-rip-it is simple to get the amount you need.

Doesnt seem to add much more grip to surface applied for pullups

Great tape. Very sticky and breathable. I use it to post my dogs cropped ears and has been, by far the best tape I have used for this application.

This is awesome tape. I’m a rock climber and this stuff is way better than that terrible white tape that everyone used to use. It rips way easier and stays on. I tape my tips for working goes on my projects and it is a really good way to save my skin on climbing trips!
