I purchased 3 of these, two were gifts. All are the matte black color. I ordered after a recent trip where several restrooms had no place to hang a bag. It was a little larger than I expected, but is a very attractive and super strong hanger. I have no doubt that it will easily hold a backpack, though I have only used it for a purse so far. The loop is conveniently large enough to fit on my wrist as well. The clip ends have rubber on them to protect surfaces and prevent slipping. It seems very secure, but replacement pads are available for free from the maker. I ordered a set to have on hand for an upcoming trip and they arrived quickly. I really like this a lot. It’s handy, nicely designed, and very sturdy. Great for a small gift. Well deserved 5 stars.

Such a simple design, but works much better than the “traditional” purse hooks. It’s stronger, it opens wider, it’s more versatile. Notice the anti-slip silicone pads — everything has been thought through.

A versatile and convenient part of my EDC. I keep this clipped to my sling and use it to hang my bag but works to hang other light items temporarily like a coat, headphones, etc. The clip feels solid and the spring action is strong for its intended use. Relatively cheap and useful little piece of gear to keep with you.

Love these Clipa Bag Hangers - Matte Black PVD (also have in Polished Silver and Polished Hematite). I have a Clipa Bag Hanger clipped onto each of my most-used backpacks/purses/bags. (Inevitably if I grab a different purse/bag, I find myself in a situation where I wish I had a Clipa Bag Hanger on that purse/bag!) Generally discrete, the Clipa Bag Hangers do add a little weight, but the ability to hang your backpack/purse/bag off a table, over a toilet stall, off a chair, etc. is worth it. I like that they're sized so that you can wear them as a bracelet if that helps you keep them handy and then a quick clip from wrist to backpack/purse/bag and you're ready to go.

I really like this clip. I use it on my gym bag so that I can hang it on the edge of a locker and open my bag easier. This thing holds a lot of weight and the clip openings. Have a great plastic layer that grips very well and stays in place amazingly. Not sure that I’d wear it as a bracelet like one of the picture showed, but you definitely could, as it will fit your wrist most likely. Highly recommend if you need something to hang your bags on. I do slightly wish it had an option to lock closed , as that would be my only issue with it so far is it almost falling off my bag strapat times when not in use

This item is probably slightly overpriced but it's the kind of thing you buy once and use a ton, so I don't mind. It feels sturdy and has a simple, attractive, design. It fits easily into any purse and holds it securely. I don't carry heavy bags so I can't speak to the weight capacity. I will probably get more as gifts for the bag lovers in my life.

This purse holder works well and keeps my bag secure without sliding. It’s sturdy and reliable, but a bit bigger than I expected, so it takes up more space when not in use. Still, it does the job perfectly for keeping my purse off the floor.
