Great Felco Product
I bought this particular saw due to already owning a pair of Felco pruners which are the best I've owned thus far and were therefore a help in making the decision to buy the same brand again. Although I haven't used it much it does cut through all types of wood with consumate ease and is made to the same high standard as the pruners.

Best little saw I’ve ever had
Marvellous little saw. Really sharp and great for getting in awkward places. I have recently renovated a forty year old beech hedge, which was very congested and getting too tall. Most of the work was done with this little saw. I liked it so much that I bought two more as presents. I think you can also get spare blades so it will last you for a long time. I am a a lady gardener in my seventies so really appreciate good tools that I can handle.

Quality product
Quality Felco 600 pruning saw that I purchased to replace the same product after using it for years but broke the blade on it. It was more cost affective to buy complete saw rather than just the blade. Recommended

Feel like Wyatt Earp with this long holster on my hip - but I'm much quicker on the saw!
I do a lot of branch pruning with some heavy duty loppers and a heavy duty pruning saw, but wanted something a bit lighter because the heavy duty stuff can be a bit tiring after a couple of hours or so. I saw this in the Amazon Lightning deals and decided to take a chance on it, and have not been disappointed. The "cut" on the "pull stroke" took a minute or so to get used to, but from then it cut everything very smoothly. My heavy duty pruning saw has deep notches for cutting thicker branches, but although the teeth on the Felco are all even it still cuts quite thick branches, and it also give a much finer cut. It is also extremely sharp and the blade is only a bit over an inch wide, which means you can easily get between tightly growing branches to cut just the branches you want to. I thought the holster was a bit of gimmick when I saw it advertised but the saw is, as I say, very sharp and it is best kept in the holster when not being used. And the holster actually hangs well on the hip and is very smooth on the draw, so I wear it quite a lot. And I am improving my draw and cutting speed each day as well.

Great little prunning saw
As a professional gardener, I have used these saws for years. They have a good strong blade, which keeps it's edge well. I know some people have complained about the blade bending. This is not a fault with the saw, I'm afraid it is down to poor technique. Let me explain; this is a double toothed draw saw, which means it cuts on the "pull" stroke, it will also tend to pull itself into the cut. So you only need a very light downward pressure on the "pull" stroke and none at all on the "push" stroke. (people who have used wood saws a lot tend to have trouble as those work the other way round). I have absolutely no trouble cutting branches up to about 4 inches diameter with this saw, above that I tend to use a chainsaw 'cos I'm lazy.

excellent small folding saw
great cutting blade, makes very light work of cutting through branches. not quite as good as silky for build quality or variations in products, but a dam fine saw for the money.

Branch amputators
As with all Felco kit, well made. I have owned a number of the older model which had a more robust blade lock. As others have mentioned, unlike wood saws, bow saws and hacksaws these are to be used on the pull stroke not the push. If you push these you will end up with a best a bent blade and worst cut yourself (luckily, like all Felco, the blades are replaceable). It pays to learn how remove limbs properly with these to reduce blade entrapment and plant damage from cambium splits and tears.

A pleasant surprise
The first non bow saw I have used for pruning. Why did I wait so long? I have been really impressed with my Felco 600 folding saw. It cuts well and it took little time to adjust to the "cut on pull" Less twigs and branches are broken as it is so easy to cut only the offending one The saw unfolds and folds one handed so is easy to keep in a pocket while moving about in trees or using secateurs
