Well priced, very useful and long lasting. UPDATE 14/9/2025
UPDATE 14/9/2025 Just another small update to say that this tool is still working. Sadly I am not using it as much as I was over the last few years as I have now got a cordless multi tool. I still use this mains one when i know that I need the extra power as well as being able to run it for a long time. The cordless one I have has limitations but also not as powerful. I am still amazed that it is working as well as it is given how much I have used it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE 05/06/2024 Just thought that I would add an update to my review. Good news is that it is still working. Recently I have been using this as a detailed sander a lot. Mainly one hour a day for over a week. Seems to take punishment very well. I have also got some cutters that I am not sure that they are meant to cut brick or stone but they did and this tool was powerful enough to allow that to happen. I do feel bad for this tool as it seems to now be my goto tool as I have a lot of different cutting and sanding attachments that make my tasks easier. The other thing about this tool is that it is light..ish and is able to go places where other tools would find difficult. I am impressed with this tool so far as it was not a lot of money at the time and I dont really look after it as much as I should do. I am only a mad diyer who enjoys working on houses. I hope that it keeps working for another few years! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have had this tool since September 2022 and I bought it to help me renovate our house. I was in two minds on splashing out on a more expensive item but I had to keep tabs on the cost. I have been using this to sand in awkward places as well as cut a lot of things that were also in awkward places. I probably don't really look after it as it was quite a cheap item but I now realise that it is brilliant bit of kit to make a lot of tasks easier. I like the case supplied but you need to just get use to putting it back in as space is quite tight I have found. The supplied blades were OK but now have worn out and replaced. The supplied blades did suffer a lot as I just wanted to get the house sorted. For the amount I paid and what tasks I have achieved with it and the very fact that it still works and sounds healthy is just brilliant for me as I am about to start on another house renovation. I am not a professional builder just a diy person who enjoys making houses look better.

Good Value for a DIY person
I needed a multi tool to fit laminate flooring in our new house and didn't want to spend a fortune on something I would probably use once. The Mylek Multi tool offered one of the highest wattage motors for the money I could find, so for those tough bits I knew it would have the power. The tool comes supplied in a nicely moulded carry case which fits all the accessories in, one tip is make sure you fit everything in the right way round as I had it all back to front! The tool came with a selection of blades for metal, plastic and wood which I have mainly used the wood cutters, cutting the bottom edges off of the door frames. The accessory pack also contained a load of sanding pads which I have yet to use, but never the less came as a welcome surprise to be included. Using the tool to cut away parts of skirting I found it light enough to use and cut straight lines without wondering away. I used an off cut of laminate as a height guide and this saved me having to do to much guess work. Overall I'm very happy with the quality and performance but only time will tell on reliability.

Still to use. Seems to be a good piece of kit.

Great product
Really good so far. Does exactly what you expect. The blades dont last long. but the tool is excellent and real value for money. I bought a cheap cordless first for £26 and it just didn't work from the off. This is great value for money. If you are buying cheap...Buy Corded :-)

Good tool
This is a great tool. I looked at others that were available but chose this as I thought it represented the best value for money and I wasn't disappointed. So far I have used this for cutting plaster coving, sanding and undercutting architrave when installing wooden floors. Each time it has performed really well. The tool runs very smoothly without excessive vibration and is easy to handle, the quick release mechanism is easy to use and I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality multi tool.

MYLEK Oscillating Multi Tool 300W Oscillating Electric Corded Multi Tools
As described but I decided not to keep this mutitool as I didn't think I really need it tbh. For the few projects I wanted to do a compact saw was more handy. It was bought at a reduced price with all the accessories included. The tool felt good quality but I didn't use it. My only negative is a few reviewers weren't happy with the quality of the attachments / accessories which put me off tbh as well.

Don't believe all the negatives.
You're going to read some negative reviews here about blade compatibility, blades snapping, the plastic locking mechanism etc - mainly all cobblers. I've not had any such issues and I've used it on wood, metal, stone and plastic. This machine takes standard quick fit blades, there's no issue with compatibility. I've bought Saxton and Erbauer and they're fine. If you're breaking the blades, it's not the machine; maybe try not forcing it or bending the blades downwards or upwards. The locking mechanism handle is plastic but it's solid enough. I can generally tighten the blades enough without extending the locking handle anyway so no problems. I think the machine is as versatile as any other and vibrates the same as any other in this price bracket. But it's good value. If you want close to perfection, go spend over a hundred quid, but don't whinge if you only want to spend forty quid. I won't use it on brick or block even with a carbide blade; it's not designed for heavy duty stuff. But it's great through plaster and board and getting to places you'd struggle. I've just used it to cut through skirtings trapped behind radiators on either side of the pipes so I could remove them; that would have been a nightmare otherwise. So the point being, if you don't expect it to do heavy duty stuff, it will come in useful. And this one with the carry case is good enough for DIY stuff.
