Worked well in my sourdough!
I'm a cottage baker who specializes in sourdough - I like to get really creative with flavors & whatnot. Pandan was a spotlight in a featured green loaf for St. Patrick's Day & it was a HUGE hit. The green wasn't very vibrant after baking, but it was absolutely delicious! Ad flavor is definitely most important.

Panda coffee taste good
Already tried several times to make pandan coffee and I love it. The only downside is it doesn’t desolve in water like matcha, so I need to use filter when making coffee with it instead of use with instant coffee. My friend said she need to borrow some to make pandan cake

Nothing like the fresh or frozen leaves
This is the first time I tried this powder. I normally get the fresh or frozen pandan leaves at the Asian market. The powder does not have any fragrance or flavor whatsoever that you would get from the fresh or frozen leaves. It also turns my desserts to all ‘green’ which I don’t necessarily want. The actually leaves would give a soft, nutty flavor and a hint of green (barely detectable). I am very disappointed and will not buy this again for this purpose. Maybe ok just to add to tea, which I have not tried.

Good for baking when strained
This finely ground pandan leaf powder is fragrant. However, I do not like it as a drink as it is grainy due to the undissolved leaf residue. When I use it in baking, I add water to the powder, let it sit overnight in the fridge to settle the residue at the bottom, and then strain it using a coffee filter. The cake made with this strained liquid is delicious with a good pandan flavor but not as strong as from fresh leaves.
