Good Results
I've used this hair dye in various colours over the years. I used 2 bottles this time as I have medium length locs. The method I used was to apply the 2 bottles to clean, DRY hair. Leave it on for one hour, rinse with lukewarm water, then pour diluted conditioner over the hair (2-3 squirts of conditioner in 200ml of water) and leave for a few minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water again, put on a towel for 15-30 minutes, and finally blow dry hair on the lowest heat. I did NOT use shampoo during the application/rinsing process, but I washed my scalp with shampoo 5 days later. The colour has taken really well, as my hair was a medium brown. The photos don't do it justice, but you can see the purple shine in good lighting. My hair looks shiny and healthy and the colour has stuck. Be aware the colour can transfer onto pillow cases, etc. until the hair is washed a few times. It is a messy process dying locs, and there will be some cleaning to do after. The dye will stain lighter coloured fabrics. I usually do the petroleum jelly around the hairline, but couldn't be bothered this time, and found a baby wipe cleared any dye residue from my skin. I typically lay a large plastic bag/bin bag in the bath to reduce the mess. Overall very happy with the results and quality of the product. Update: 2 weeks and 2 hair washes later, the purple is more visible, vibrant, and my hair still looks healthy.

Highly recommend!
I normally use crazy colour but found it pretty useless lately because it just wasn't sticking to my hair. So delighted I came across this product! The reviews said it was good so went for it, and wow what a result! Easy to apply (thin gel consistency that actually coats hair really well). I used way less than I normally would with Crazy Colour, and got a much better spread of deep, intense colour from this than I actually thought possible. Maybe the heat processing or just a far superior product to CC. Haven't washed it yet but semi's aren't meant to be permanent so it wouldn't surprise me if it washes out a bit. Lovely colour, great product, will definitely buy this again and again!

Only True Semi Permanent I Use
I've been bleaching and using Adore dyes for about two years now, but I used to get them from another shop. I got them here because it was more convenient, though the price is slightly higher. I've never used this on unbleached hair, so I have no idea how well it sticks or how much colour it leaves. On bleached hair, it's amazing. The colour is always super vibrant. You may not always get the colour shown on the bottle, but that's more because of the base colour of the hair your dyeing over. I get very annoyed reading reviews from people who complain the colour wasn't the same on their hair. If your hair has yellow or orange tones in it, this will make the colour more peachy than the blue toned pink! I had this happen on my hair since it wasn't bleached perfectly evenly. Some strands are peachy. Same goes for if you dye over blue. The number one reason I prefer Adore dyes over others is that I can dilute it with conditioner and still get a lot of colour out of it. One bottle lasts me over ten applications. Currently my hair is a pastel purple and pink mix because I worked out it would be cheaper to buy two bottles, one pink and one blue, to make my own purple, rather than buying one bottle of purple. So you can mix these together to get an even greater range of shades. I'm never the same colour each month! The longer you leave it in, the brighter and more longer lasting the colour will be. This is true for unbleached hair as well. You don't have to worry about damage, this is like a conditioner that stains your hair. You do have to keep it moist though, so put a shower cap or plastic bag on top. I normally leave mine in for about an hour, but because of the pastels, I've only been leaving it in for about five minutes while showering and it still deposits colour, though it rinses out quicker. The second reason I love Adore dyes is that there is pretty much zero rub off. I can dye my hair, rinse, let it dry and not leave random colours all over my pillow. I don't worry about it running in the rain. I used to use Directions Plum and the rain made that run, it was very embarrassing. All in all, I really recommend this, it lasts for ages, smells great, excellent colour payoff and a wide range of colours.

The periwinkle dye is horrid.
DO NOT BUY ! I am absolutely appalled. I purchased the periwinkle coloured hair dye. This product did absolutely nothing to my very light blonde hair. If I could give it 0 starts I would. I applied it on dry hair as it said that’s for the best effect and waited double the time for maximum pigment only to be greeted with the exact same hair colour as before. I DO NOT recommend this product to anyone.

Good semi permanent hair dye
I was experimenting and went from black hair to blonde and have decided that blonde doesnt suit me. So tried Adore 76 Copper Brown. Colour is very nice and true to advertised colour. However it was a bit darker than I wanted. So in a couple of days I have washed it off and tried Adore 56 Cajun Spice. I really liked this colour, it is very vibrant. Please be aware: it says to apply on wet hair. If you have very dry, coarse or damaged hair, it's best to apply on dry hair though. Dry/damaged hair is like a sponge absorbing water. This means there is no room to obsorbe dye, it will coat your hair very lightly with much lighter colour than it should be plus it will wash of literally after first wash. This is exactly what has happened to me when I followed instruction. Luckily I have bought two bottles and used second bottle on dry hair. Another tip: when washing it off after colouring, dont wash your hair for too long otherwise you will wash off the colour. It is really "temporary" hair dye and will wash off after 2-3 washes, but colour is lovely. Pic1 blonde before colouring, pic2 after colouring with Adore 76 copper brown, pic3 after colouring with Adore 56 Cajun Spice, pic4 after first washing.

Meh
Firstly completely ignore the instructions on the bottle (shampooing afterwards will strip the colour and its only a temporary so it will only last a few washes) and make sure you have some gloves handy because it doesnt come with any, I put it on over dry clean hair and left for half an hour, rinsed off and conditioned the second time as the first time i followed instructions on bottle and it barely did anything. Im using the 121 jet black over faded red dye, The first bottle I tried smelt really good and the colour came out pure shiny black but only lasted a couple of washes before fading at the roots, the second bottle however smells completely different and I wonder if the formula has changed as its runnier. Its okay for if you want temporary colour or to help remove another colour but I wouldnt rely on it for long lasting result's as its a SEMIPERMINANT/TEMPORARY and none of this type of hair dye lasts more than a few washes

Good for dying wigs !
This hair dye is amazing! The colour is rich and vibrant, and it applies smoothly without damaging the hair. I used it on my wig and it turned out even better than expected — the colour looks natural and blends perfectly. The hair still feels soft and healthy after dyeing. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to customise their wigs!
