I was delighted that less than 24hrs after I ordered my SonicFoam eartips, for my new Apple AirPods Pro Gen 2, they arrived. As I had no idea what size my ears were, and not finding any of the Apple supplied silicon eartips to fit me very well at all, I ordered SonicFoam’s “Selection” box, which contained one set each of Small, Medium and Large foam eartips. Normally, from what I saw of the Amazon product page, when selecting just the one size, they will come as 10, or 5 pairs, of eartips at a time, so I figured that I would work out the size that best fitted my ears and I would then know what to order in the future. As anyone, that has had to use foam ear protectors in the past, will know, the thing with foam is that is does eventually lose its elasticity. So it’s a good idea to always have some replacement ones handy. What I am delighted with is that SonicFoam’s pricing makes that a possibility with hardly a strain on the purse at all. Being somewhat older than what I would assume to be the highest AirPod user’s demographic, I am not in the habit of wearing mine all day, as a fashion item, regardless of what I might be doing. I may use mine for a few hours, perhaps twice a week, so fully expect a pair of foam eartips to last me 6-8 weeks before needing to replace them. This being the case, I would then expect a box of 5 pairs of SonicFoam’s eartips, currently costing £13.99 on Amazon, to last me around 9 months, which I think is excellent value for money. So, they arrived in a small plastic box, split into 10 sections, containing one set of each of the S, M, and L eartips. Also included within the box was a card from “Amy” (see photo) inviting me to get in touch with her if they didn’t fit me properly. This really made my day. It meant that someone, presumably someone named Amy, had taken the time to consider the possibility that I may have problems getting a good fit and therefore wanted to make sure that I was able and confident about getting in contact with SonicFoam in order to discuss and rectify the situation. Considering that I was still getting over the heart palpitations, and just about feeling steady on my feet after needing an especially long lie down from purchasing the iPhone 15 Pro, Apple Watch Series 9 and the AirPods all at the same time, I was delighted to find the much appreciated care and attention to ensuring customer satisfaction from a company selling a product that was comparatively so much less money, but was just as vital to ensuring I could make proper use of my more expensive purchases. This warmed my heart as I had had the same fitting comfort problem a good number of years back, when the AirPods Gen 1 first came out, where I couldn’t ever get them to feel comfortable, or even to stay in. As the Gen 1 set didn’t have eartips, and therefore there was no point in looking for ways to make them fit better, my expensive AirPods ended up sitting in a drawer for years, until the batteries would no longer hold a charge. So, I was determined that this time, even more so because of what I consider to be the eyewateringly steep price for the AirPods Pro, I was not going to let the same thing happen and that I would be finding a way to use them no matter what lengths I had to go to. So, to feel that SonicFoam’s Amy was receptive to any fitting problems I might have was very reassuring. It was also nice to feel that they were supplied to me by a real person, rather than a soulless robot in one of Amazon’s gargantuan distribution centres here in the U.K. So, the mediums were a really good fit for me, and, once in my ears, I could hardly tell they were there until I started to play music through them. Apple also has a function in the AirPods settings that carries out some kind of fitment testing. I hadn’t been able to get it to report a good fit on any of Apple’s silicon ones at all. SonicFoam’s medium eartips passed the test on both ear first try. As the AirPods Pro has some crazy good built in functions, such as spatial sound, and noise cancelling, then having a really good fit into your ears is vital in getting the most out of them. I am very happy to report that SonicFoam’s eartips are perfect and more than up to that task. I will be back to them again soon to order myself a supply to keep me going for the rest of this year and to the back end of 2024. They are excellent products, for an excellent price. Thoroughly recommended.

Great tips for the air pod pro 3. The tips are memory foam and black. I ordered large and they fit true to size. They make a great replacement for the original silicone tips. i find that they are far better at passive noise reduction than the apply oem tips mainly because they fit more snugly and make a good seal in your ear. They have literally taken an already great set of earphones, to the next level and i'm not sure why apple doesnt include a set in the selection they give you from the factory. Great value for money and because it is a box of 5 pairs, i can change them regularly. I doubt they will need changing very often though as they feel quite durable. completely happy.

These SonicFoam tips have been a brilliant upgrade for my AirPods Pro. They’re far more comfortable than the standard silicone ones and create a better seal, which noticeably improves noise isolation. Easy to fit, stay secure, and feel great even during long listening sessions. Excellent value for a 3-pair pack. Great value for money but you might get these cheaper from AliExpress as well.

For the money these are perfect. The snap fit is as good as Apple® make. The soft memory foam is as good as I would expect from Comply®. The price is very good. The packaging for the items is excellent allowing you to keep them tidy and dirt free - seriously impressed with the packaging. The hand written note inside asking to contsat the company if it didn't meet expectations was a delightful surprise. These are an easy product to recomment if you are looking for a memory foad ear bud tip for the Apple® AirPod Pro 1 & 2. 10/10

I wanted to try foam tips as I'd heard good things about them when compared with the silicone ones you get on Airpod Pro 2's. I opted for the trial pack as I wasn't sure what size would fit best and the trial comes with a set in each size, and was pleasantly surprised at the offer for a free pack in the chosen size if you find a size/fit that works for you. It's obviously highly subjective so although they didn't work out for me, they almost certainly will for some. Size wise I found I'd fall somewhere between the medium and large where medium is comfortable but has a poor seal and large is less comfortable but offers a good seal. Noise cancelling is noticeably worse than with the silicone tips for me and seems to let a lot more higher frequency noise bleed in, though again that's very subjective. Comfort with the large tips just wasn't good enough to wear for a few hours so I ultimately went back to the silicone tips instead of dealing with the considerably worse performance of the medium size. As for sound quality it was almost identical to the silicone tips but with maybe a little less bass response. While that could be down to material differences it could also be down to me just finding an ideal fit. Despite the fit not being right for me I'm still giving these 5* overall since the set of different sized tips is cheap and the offer to get a free pack of your chosen size on top is superb. The material quality seems good as well and the foam springs back to its original shape every time so definitely behaves like a good quality memory foam should.
