It's a good fit for my Surface Pro 11. The material is a little thinner and firmer than I would have liked but I think it will survive an impact. I am just not willing to test it on purpose. It is a pretty standard hard shell case. The cutouts are wide enough to allow using the usb inputs, charging, and allow the speakers to sound good. It is easier to hold onto than the surface material itself. It looks good enough and the kickstand kind of works if you are patient and steady. It did not obstruct my cover with the built in pen holder.

Very nice protector for my surface laptop

The hard/rugged case feels sturdy, but it doesn't fit Surface Pro devices accurately (-2 stars). I tried it on my Pro 10 and 11, and they fit too snugly, causing the buttons to be constantly pressed on both sides. As a result, the devices can't function. The Bluetooth keyboard, however, is great and as advertised. It came in a new, unopened official Microsoft Pro keyboard box, with a charging cord and USB (hence 3 stars). This would have been 5 stars if the case fit properly. Only reason I'm not returning it is because I only wanted the keyboard, the case was a bonus. Wish I could find the keyboard cheaper elsewhere.... this would get returned immediately.

I ordered these for my guys in the service department. So far they all fit great and no complaints.

I needed a case that would facilitate my using a Surface Pro 7 for data collection in the field and presentations. Case fitment is absolutely perfect! Easy to install. The three-layer design connects in such a way that gives me great confidence that it will not come apart during use and drop my Surface to the ground. The strap attachment points on all four corners allows me to configure a shoulder strap that works for my needs. This was an important feature I needed. The 360-deg. handle/stand is a wonderful design! I am able to use my surface for data collection in the field and I can use it when doing presentations. When doing presentations, the Surface becomes an extension of my arm. It doesn't feel or look awkward standing in front of an audience. (I use it to control and interact with a presentation on a large screen.) Some interviewers complained about the inability to attach the Surface Keyboard. This isn't an issue for me. I use a small Bluetooth keyboard instead of the Surface KB. I just never liked the Surface KB. I highly recommend this case!

Why buy this case? - Very protective for your Surface Pro - This one HAS a stylus holster - The shoulder strap is very handy - The hand loop/grip is great - Kickstand is helpful and easy to use Overall for my use (Coaching a hocky team) this case allows me to confidently use the Surface with the convenience of being on my shoulder, having great access to the stylus (including confidently storing it to avoid loss), and all the while protecting a costly electronic device. I am so please with it that I can't believe I only just starting using it. I have had Surface Pro computers for over 5 years. Why to NOT buy this product - If you MUST have the 'Type Cover' attached this case is NOT compatible while the case is affixed - There is no Screen protector (which if you are an avid Surface user with Stylus, you probably like me prefer not to have one) - The kickstand is not 'Infinite' unlike the one you paid big bucks for on your Surface Pro that has infinite 'stopping' positions (I find the Surface Pro kickstand when opened wide does not 'stop' into position so much as slowly continues to lower while I am using it, but if you aren't touching it, the limitless options are nice to have)
