Absolutely delicious. Can't speak for gut health as have only had the jar a couple of days but it's great on a salad and is nice n spicy. Will repurchase.

Excellent Korean kimchi
We all love the flavour of this Kimchi. It's not the cheapest but have bought it again due to flavour. Lovely Korean spicing. Not too hot but just right.

Make your own!
This is not a good kimchi by any means. The jar contents were insipid and limp, and of poor taste. Kimchi relies on natural fermentation for its taste. Not on vinegar to pickle it. Carrots are not a usual ingredient. Overpriced at £7 a jar and definitely not remotely like the real thing.

Not great, not awful.
Okay, so the good news is it tastes quite nice! The bad news is that its very soft and squidgy, and it isnt very spicy at all. If youre used to kimchi made in your local restaurant, with that crispness, variety of vegetables, and intense spicy hit you will be disappointed. I wouldnt buy it again to be honest, especially not for £6.20.

Very nice kimchi.
Thought I'd try some slant eye favourite. Very nice. If Kim Jong Un likes it I thought why not?

Nice but quite hot.
Only tried a little taste but pleasantly surprised. It’s a bit too hot for me on its own but would be ok with something else like in a ham sandwich or with a rice dish.

It's so good
I'd wanted to try Kimchi for a long time. I'd heard about it in the press, on YouTube, in cookery books and was intrigued. A fermented cabbage that could be a nations favourite dish - surely not. I wanted to try something to base my opinion on before I tried the recipe myself. The recipe itself sounds easy. But it's deceptive as it eats your time. You cut the cabbage, salt it, and wait. 30 minutes. Turn it. And wait 30 minutes. Repeat for a few hours. Drain then mix in a slurry of onion, garlic and chilli and wait. Weeks. I have, since buying this product, made kimchi and it turned out delicious. But not as delicious as this product. In fact my kimchi was better fresh on day one - excellent in fact. But if you're new to kimchi then just buy a jar. After all, it is said that historically the value of a partner was based on their ability to make good kimchi. That's why, rather than trying to replicate a recipe, I'll be buying this again and enjoying it.
