Extra Long Churchwarden Tobacco Pipe 14"

Was much bigger than expected, was delivered early and we'll packaged and came in a nice gift box, this is perfect, it's over a foot long.

Very poor quality. Had to return as it simply wasn't safe to smoke through. Far to much aluminium used in its construction and the paint around the bowel flaked easily and was a significant concern. Don't buy cheap with something like this, spend that bit extra! Heck, were smoking anyway so why make it even more hazardous!?!

Was my first pipe baught a herbal mix with it, tastes great now it does not have that brand new taste didn't take a lot to brake it in great for the money

Bought it for a fancy dress party! it is a really nice pipe and comes beautifully presented in a lined box! Be a very nice gift. Every one kept stealing it at the party!!!

Its brilliant really light eady to clean stays lit the colour of the pipe is great itd just what I was looking for

I live in the UK and recieved this pipe in excellent timing! I am very happy with it, and the design is amazing. I am a fan of the Lord of the Rings series and bought this pipe because i enjoy the designs they use, this pipe is spot on with the films! All in all, i am one very happy customer!

I purchased this because i saw it for 12 bucks and decided to go for it, AS i said I've smoked it 4 times, and while it DOES occasionally make a wierd sound when you draw on it at times, and the bowl gets a bit hot if you're a really heavy puffer, or like me, just a beginner and still getting the hang of packing a pipe causing numerous re-lights to be necessitated. build quality is so-so, things like the little silvver ring around where the stem connects to the bowl are flimsily attatched and came loose at the very first use, but it fit back on snugly and it causes no issue as far as i can see. I would consider this a pretty decent pipe if you like the look of it and don't mind a fairly restricted draw ( not rough or tight, just limited.) It seems to be an alright piece, given its size do you REALLY indend to smoke it outside your home? It's a churchwarden, you need a free hand, and you can't exactly sit it down just anywhere. is it an awesome steal of an amazing pope? no, But an ultra cheap pipe that can get you tasting the cool smoke of a churchwarden pipe? Yeah, I'd say my money wasn't "wasted" but I wouldn't consider it an "investment" either

The practicality of this pipe is not really a concern because of it's hilarity and fun. I bought this on a whim because I saw The Hobbit movie and was enamored with the long pipes that are used in the film. I am an amateur pipe smoker and this pipe has been easy to use, clean and enjoy. The dock of one star was because on my pipe, the mouthpiece is a bit easy to fall out so if I am not holding on to it and spin my head at a certain speed, then the pipe falls out. With a bit of manipulation though I made it so it no longer falls out.

I have a few pipes, nothing spectacular, and for years I wanted the "Gandalf style" Churchwarden. The pipe smokes great, though it comes apart in three pieces (bowl/shank, stem, and mouthpiece). The pieces seem like they should be tighter, and I wonder how they will react to multiple uses. The other pipes I have are much tighter when assembles, but they are plastic, this one is wood except for the mouthpiece. In case you haven't guessed, I am a Lord of the Rings fan, and I bought the pipe because of that. I think it's a great piece for the money. I have used it about ten times now and have owned it for a month. If it has any wear/tear issues in the future, I will update the review.

This thing is awesome. Smokes great. No funky taste. Easy to take apart and clean! Head doesn't get hot and it's a huge deep bowl head. My hack: 1.) I opened the mouthpiece and removed the filter. 2.) Took the head off of the stem and removed the regulator (pair of pliers and pulled, came right out) 3.) Put a screen in the bowl head covering the stem inlet hole. All I need now is a staff, a wizards hat and a beard. The one issue I had, as others have stated, is that the silver ring that connects the stem to the head isn't an exact fit, so it's a little, and I mean just A LITTLE, wobbly. My fix: a bit of electrical tape (tape never gets hot). Unnoticeable and sturdy.
