Adult Large Breed Turkey & Rice 15 kg Bag, Hypoallergenic Dry Dog Food

Ive been a dog owner for 30 years. I’ve been feeding my dogs James Wellbeloved for nearly 20 years, and can’t imagine ever changing. Prior to that I used, Pedigree, Winalot, Eukanuba and more. I noticed a difference within a month after swapping over to JW… more energy, shiny coat, cleaner teeth, better breath, brighter eyes, no scratching and just generally happier. I’m pretty sure they were even better behaved. All my dogs have lived well into old age and have very few health issues and definitely no serious ones. Also the large breed kibble really does help with dental and um hygiene. I have a 50kg Weimaraner, a 35Kg Doberman and a 5kg miniature Dachshund and they all eat the JWB Adult large breed. It’s also available in 4 different flavours which I generally rotate so they get a bit of variety.

Great product, but I'm a Prime member, and the deliverer left the sack of food in front of my door as I was out at work. Aside from the fact I have no front garden (my front door opens straight onto the street) it was lucky that it didn't rain or the paper sack would have been destroyed upon my trying to move it. Also, I live in a good neighbourhood, it wouldn't have surprised me if the sack had gone walkies otherwise! But I can't fault the product: my GSD crunches happily on the kibbles. I just need to see if changing his diet to hypoallergenic food stops his frequent scratching and nibbling.

I was recommended to buy this food by my vet after my large labradoodle was getting recurrent ear infections and itchy skin, as she said food intolerances can cause both. We haven't had an ear infection since, but the coolest thing is that his poops are now smaller, denser, easier to scoop up, and much MUCH less smelly. That is, if I'm honest, almost a bigger selling point than the healthy ears for me! I never realised what a difference a high quality food can make. And he seems to really like the big chunky kibble bits. Expensive, but worth it for me -- especially if you buy more cheaply online.

I love my dog food and does the dog l have had this dog food for a very long time

This dog food is wonderful for my Great Danes and stops the threat of them getting bloat, which believe me is very distressing for the dog and to witness. The food is round balls and the size is just perfect. I also have the Ocean white fish and rice flavour in this size to give them a change, which is also really good. It does smell a bit when you open the bag each time, but does'nt linger when you close the bag again.

Bought for my german shepherd. She used to choke herself a little when eating her previous food - as this food is large disc shapes she eats at a regular pace and we've had no choking incidents since being on this food. I usually serve up with warm water, and mix them around a bit - that way, a sort-of gravy is formed which my dog loves. A 15kg bag lasts one month for my dog, she has two scoops for breakfast and one for dinner alongside her all-natural wet food. We also mix in her medication with this dry food and she does not protest to the taste when the medicine is in there. I recommended this food to my parents for use with their dog and they also now will not buy anything else for their dog!
