I just found these and boy I’m glad I did! I read how people prepare them and followed suit. Crunchy on the outside chewy on the inside. I put a little avocado oil in the skillet and browned each side till puffy, then drizzled some honey with sea salt…YUM! We didn’t know about savory mochi, but now we do. This brand seems to be highly sought after, and I can see why.

I put one individual portion in the oven to bake for about 12 minutes at 400 degrees...An Amazon label was pasted over the instructions and I wasn't sure how long to bake or what temperature this required as I couldn't get the label off......I my baked mochi out of the oven just in time...it had puffed up nicely...outside didn't get too dark..inside was slightly gooey and sticky... I poked a hole in the middle of the "puff"...let about a tsp of honey drip into the hole...The result was like eating dessert. Very satisfying....But just saying that I bought this package 2 weeks ago...went back to buy another one today and saw that the price had gone up by $4...That's outrageous...so I bought 2 packages from another online seller of nutritional supplements and organic foods...and got two packages for what Amazon is now charging for one package..It's now a rip off believing anyone would pay $18 for one package of mochi...although it is a wonderful product...I don't like it when Amazon starts raising prices when nobody else is following suit on the same product......Just not a nice thing to do to loyal customers! I should remove a few stars for that greedy behavior but I'm reviewing the quality of Eden's mochi, not Amazon's practices.

Since I can’t find fresh mochi and Baltimore, this is my second favorite choice – – sprouted and organic – – awesome! Toasts up very quickly and is delicious with maple syrup!

I add a couple of squares to my miso soup, or quickly stir-fry adding a few drops of shoyu and shredded daikon on top of the squares, or as a dessert adding a bit of brown rice syrup to each square after the browning in a small amount of water. I have found that after about a week of eating mochi, my bladder muscles are stronger and that's a real plus for eating such a delicious food.
