Purchased due to reduced ATP production and underperforming mitochondrial function as diagnosed by a private GP & laboratory. Tablets are large so I just crush in the mouth & chew. They are mostly flavourless and texture is of chalk/powder as expected so easily tolerable. Also no tummy trouble unlike other Magnesium compounds. Product has been working very well in conjunction with other vitamins and supplements to alleviate massive exhaustion, fatigue & CFS type symptoms. Great value for money offering 150mg of elemental Magnesium per each 1000mg Magnesium-Malate tablet. Overall great product without unnecessary bulking agents, fillers & cheap Magnesium Oxide to artificially increase the elemental Mg content which is a very deceitful, underhand ploy by other supplement providers.

Good supplement for my body

Magnesium is critical for the body and it is necessary for over 300 reactions in the body. I take magnesium to help with recovery, injuries and dizziness. You really feel the difference when you are not taking them. Not once I have pain day after exercise. There are other benefits for the brain and nerves, such as depression, anxiety, fibromyalgia, headaches, sleep, vitamin d absorption, bone health, etc. Many people are deficient, because most of the food do not contain have it, specially processed or refined foods. The removal of minerals from the water treatments is another cause. Be careful not to take Oxide. It is the worst type of Magnesium. There are other types with good absorption. I find it works best for me if I take malate and glycinate. One in the morning and the another at night respectively. I may increase one or the other depending on how I feel. Dietary fibre affects absorption as well, so either take well between meals or avoid fibres. Pills are a bit large, but that is normal in comparison to other brands.

Well I got introduced to magnesium by group members to help with muscle spasms from fibromyalgia. After a couple of weeks of taking them my spasms have decreased and feel much more comfortable than before.

Same quality as my previous brand and less than half the price. As to benefits, well I started these, yoga, fish oils and cbd all at the same time in the years long "FibroQuest" so I'm too scared to stop taking them incase I wake up feeling like I'm ninety again. Good wee lads. Might be a bit big for some to swallow as they are the size of garden beetles I have seen. Apologies, I size by insects. About just over 2-3cm? They can be chopped with one of those pill cutters obtainable from pharmacies but that might make them a bit jaggy. Like Swallowing an actual garden beetle.

I will amend this review once I have an idea of what the quality is like, but first point noted it that these are huge pills and you really feel them being squeezed down the oesophagus. I have no idea why they had to make these so huge. The other brand I use are well over half as small. Anyone that has trouble swallowing tablets should be mindful of this. I included some photos for reference.

I can recommend this malate supplement. You can immediately feel the difference after taking it.

Bought these to try and alleviate symptoms of muscle pain and stiffness caused by fibro. I have a lovely little pick and mix of autoimmune conditions including CFS, Hashimotos/ Hypothyroidism, Fibromyalgia and depression and now due to my middle agedness my body has decided to throw in the menopause which is just the icing on the cake really! But so glad I found these tablets. They have been nothing short of AMAZING. I LOVE THEM!! I started on one a day, which did nothing, increased to 2 ( one morning , one evening- a bit better but still not really doing it. THEN I TOOK 3!!! Oh my God I was racing around my flat with bags of energy and clarity that I hadn't had in years. I completed several tasks I had struggled to find the energy and enthusiasm to tackle before. I felt bright and alive. Almost 2 weeks on and I'm still feeling energized , although it HAS tapered somewhat it is still very much improved from how I used to feel. The pain and stiffness has improved alot also but not totally gone away. I am definitely going to keep up with these. I have also joined a Facebook group called The Magnesium Advocacy group - they advise on something called the RCP ( Root Cause Protocol) which has some very interesting proven theories around the areas of balancing magnesium, copper and iron being the root cause of all inflammation within our bodies.
