Graphtech Black Tusq Xl Nut Schecter 7 String 48 X 6, PT-6748-00

Didn't have to shave down anything, easy drop into the guitar, only use a little glue to hold in place. Fixed all my dead spots from the original bridge that got too worn down. Very high quality nut, these graphite nuts are incredible!! Have a nice clink tone to them if you lightly drop them. Already played on this a few days and now the guitar plays better than when it was new!!

Works perfect, fits my Schecter C-7 like a charm It was pretty easy to take off the old and replace it, I just took a box cutter/razor blade and carefully and slowly pushed it under the old nut until it came out somewhat on its own. I then used about two drops of gorilla superglue to stick it back on. I had to replace the old nut because I filed the thickest one a while back to make it a little wider, but I was stupid and made it deeper, too deep. But not its perfect! And quick shipping too.

Black tusq is second to none. I dont own a guitar or bass that doesnt have graphtec black tusq everywhere possible - bridge saddles, nuts, and string trees. Hands down the best money can buy

Was a drop in replacement without any issues on my '99 Omen-7. I'm a fan of tusq, think it's durable, and the self lubricating claims seem valid. The slots are high though, so be aware that you will need to file them to have good playability/intonation at the lower frets.

(In the pic, the Graphtech is on top and the original is on the bottom) It fits the slot, but the string spacing on the B/high E strings are off (using .62 gauge 7 string set). The B was approaching the edge of the fretboard past the 12th string and the E visibly had more space than it needed. I don't see how the other reviews are calling the string spacing perfect, that is simply wrong, but if you are using a light gauge string you could maybe get away with it. This was designed off of Schecter 7 strings and Graphtech doesn't make any claims that this will fit a Jackson, so this review isn't to ding the company or anything. I wish it fit! They have a good return policy so it's not a big deal.

Length=48.00mm , Width=5.95mm, Height=8.09mm. "As Listed" on Graph Techs website these measurements are correct, and they should also be listed on amazon product description for customer clarity in my opinion. The "Width" measurement is the thickness from the wood on the fingerboard towards your truss rod cover plate. The "Height" measurement is only correct at the middle of the nut to the top. (not the cut slots) At the space between the E and A slot the actual measurement is closer to 8.13mm, but that shouldn't make any difference to you. The nut is slotted very uniformly, (well) no super uneven or deep wanky string heights. The material is slick as stated on Graph Techs website because of Teflon being impregnated into the plastic. I bought this as a replacement for an Agile Septor Pro 727 with 27 inch scale that had a nut that looked like a monkey hand carved it. Can't speak to how this matches, or does on Schecter models. However, it is what they say it is.

Fue reemplazo directo para una guitarra LTD EC-407, por lo que no debe haber problema de compatibilidad con cualquier guitarra de esta marca con la forma Eclipse sin importar la serie 200, 300, 400 o 1000. El segundo que compré fue para el remplazo del nut de plástico de una Jackson JS22-7, si bien las medidas externas son iguales, las ranuras de las cuerdas están desfasadas una fracción de mm, en mi caso no me importó y la coloqué igual, no notándose en lo más mínimo a pesar de la leve diferencia en la posición de las cuerdas. Lo recomiendo ampliamente, si gustas una que sea idéntica, tocará mandar a hacerla porque en modelo comercial de esta marca, es el único modelo que maneja para 7 cuerdas

Fitted to Jackson JS32 7 string. Needed a little bit of shimming under to get correct height, 0.5mm and then worked flawless!!! Tuning Stability is awesome with this nut. Highly recommend.
