Aroma Electric Melt Burner/Warmer - Suitable For Yankee Tarts

This electric melt burner is really lovely it brightens up any dark corner , the only complaint I have is the yanki candle is slightly too big the melted candle hovers precarious in the melt burner but my daughter who is heavy footed managed to cause the wax to dribble over the edge and pours over on to the furniture and inside the cut out pattern , so you will have to cut a piece off the candle melt to fit . Tip... To clean the wax from inside is squeeze the clip lamp together and gently remove from ceramic shade rinse under hot soapy water and use green plastic scourer pad it removes all the wax off I have found that when I use the yanki candle it lasts 2 or 3 day before you need to replace a new candle as it start to make a burning smell to the wax. I gave 5 stars because this melt burner looks lovely and it lights up a dark corner in a room and also make the house smell nice too.

What a lovely little burner. Had a few worries initially about purchasing it due to mixed reviews. The wires in the bottom are secure and there’s no apparent issues. I did however find it slightly unbalanced due to the electric cable coming out the side. As I have energetic dogs and didn’t want it upside down on the floor, I decided to stick the unit to the table with blutac. Problem solved. It looks beautiful lit up and has taken a few min to melt the wax shown in the picture. I don’t use Yankee melts but prefer homemade ones from Etsy and they are the perfect size. I’m now looking to purchase another two of these burners for upstairs. Really happy with the purchase.

Wax melts offer a very strong-scent, as long as they`re good ones - Goose Creek seem to be the best around. The prospect of delicious scents without the occasional residue candles can create is what tempted me, and this is pretty enough, without being a beauty - and the price is right. The only drawback that I`ve noticed is that cleaning it out is a bit awkward. Warming the old wax slightly and then prying it out before it turns to liquid seems to work. I bought two replacement bulbs straightway, but after a month of regular burning, I`ve not needed to change the bulb yet. Wax melts are a very cost effective way to get lovely scents in the room, without a flame - but hot wax presents other risks!

Overheating. Kept turning off. Then it blew. Bought for my gran and it’s not been safe what so ever. Not right at all. Got it for her Xmas and asked why she hasn’t been using it. And these are reasons why. Bulb and amp bend changed and made no diff. Past the return window so just beware.

UPDATE: I bought several of these, two for myself and some as gifts. Mine both stopped working; the first after a week and the second about a week after that. I checked with my mother in law and her's worked fine for a month and then stopped so she replaced the bulb to no avail. Raging that I gave these as gifts. Terrible product!! I only bought this as it was the cheapest wax melter I could see. I make wax melts so I just wanted an electric burner to test my own products, normally I use a warmer that requires a tea light but I wanted to see the difference so I could advise my customers. I was surprised as this is a great wee warmer. Very nice to look at but absolutely lovely when it is lit up. It surprised me the amount of light it gives and the throw of the light is lovely. Plus it works well so I'm delighted. Bought two and will buy another few as gifts.

These are fantastic , I use a Yankee candle melt with them. I have two any you can just snap the melt in half for it to fit Last night was simply stunning, lights off music on and these giving a stunning warm light glow with and amazing aroma. It has on of switch on the wire so no need to keep unplugging all the time. Arrived boxed so great for a gift , great price. Even though price is lower than Yankee in no way does it affect the quality of the item I could. Not be more,pleased

Not sure you can really rate the scent as it depends on the melts you put in it. I liked it initially as it warms up quickly and has a warm light that makes a pretty pattern. I just abouts holds a yankee candle wax melt. The disappointing but was that the bulb blew after just one use and the way the bulb clips in is quite uncomfortable to take out as you need to squeeze a fairly sharp metal clamp. I also now struggle to find a replacement bulb strong enough to melt the wax as the two i purchased are not getting hot enough.

Bought this for my wife as a gift and she loves it. Feels so much safer than using tealights under the usual style of burner. The pot finish is quality and it is nice that the light shines out through the sides.It emits quite a lot of light considering that's not the primary function. Be careful how you position it. There is a notch for the mains cable to go through in the bottom and if you get it lopsided then there is a risk the wax will drip over the edge. Also it gets hot so don't move it once you have put it on!
