Rit Dye Powder-Denim Blue

Great depth to colour, very easy to use and as good as other well known brands. Have washed item once at the moment but still a good strong colour so far

From reviews and listing pics I was expecting a pinky medium brown, like milky coffee or maybe a bit darker.(see yarn pic) I got dark rusty brown, like the varnish on my balcony. The yarn is 100% wool.

Didn't colour as described. Turned out as a washed out feeble attempt at the colour on the box.

I used it in my washing machine and followed the instructions on their website. It didn’t dye the nylon jacket but left stain on the machine.

This has given a new lease of life to two expensive Red T-shirts that became faded due to exposure to direct sunlight. A mixture of hot water (in a plastic bucket), salt and the powder dye and 30 minutes later after soaking, the T-shirts look brand new, beautiful shade of a darker red that’s vibrant
