Good buy, strong and soft

I ordered this to complete a quilt. The seller contacted to advise they didn’t have the length I had asked for but was only short a couple of centimetres. I was pleased at how honest they were and they reduced the price reflective of the difference. Would absolutely buy from them again. Good quality batting makes a great quilt.

I've made two quilts using this wadding now, one double and one queensized. It is fantastic to use and the fibres don't collect in the sewing machine, which is great!It did need a wash and dry before using it as it smelt like sheep (to be expected as its made from sheep's wool), but has been fine there after.I plan on buying more very soon.I would recommend this product to any one wanting to make there own quilts, or for me to make them for them.

Lovely wadding but a bit thinner than I hoped. I’m using it for my 13 year old grandson, to make him a quilt that will hopefully last a very long time. Only time will tell.

To deal with a general misconception. This is not polyester quilt wadding and so is not puffy and thick and so will not shed synthetic fibres while it is being handled.This quilt wadding feels like an old fashioned blanket which has been compressed. It is very light and soft to handle. I've got 3 metres of the wadding and it so much easier to handle than its polyester equivalent. I haven't sewn it into a project yet, so I will report back (if possible) once I have done so.A few days later... I have now finished a second quilting project using this wadding and it couldn't have been easier to sew with. The lack of bulk means that my project fits easily into the space between needle plate and machine body. The needle goes through the layers of cloth, wadding and bias binding very easily. The wadding does wrinkle slightly after washing - just as they indicate in the care instructions giving that antique quilt look instantly. As I want to avoid that on my next project I have pre-washed the wadding at 40 degrees easy care cycle inside an old pillow case. Definitely wash inside something as a little fluff is produced but not much. There has been a very little shrinking, again exactly as they indicate on the care instructions.I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has a quilting project to complete.

I always use this wadding when making baby quilts. The pile is not high and it is so lightweight. Ideal for my makes. Delivery was so quick too.

I used the bamboo cotton for the inside of a baby’s quilt. It is not very thick but easy to handle and to sew.It is perfect for a lightweight quilt
