Love this knife
This knife is great, small enough not to notice it but big enough to get the job done. Good edge retention and I love the assisted opening. After many contenders, this is The only knife I carry.

Great Knife, made in the USA, good steal.
Great knife, very sharp out of the box, good steal that holds an edge well. After owning this knife or another Ken Onion design, you will probably never go back to another style of knife. The blade shape of this one is very good although it's a bit on the small side. (fits perfectly in jeans with a change pocket). The Ken Onion Leek is probably a better size, but the blade shape is flatter, and slightly different steal. They are both good knives though. The index finger opening action is very easy yet hard to trigger unintentionally. My only complains of this knife are the studs on the blade for flipping the blade open that way are a bit too large. The size of them makes for easy blade opening, but if you use the clip to keep the blade in your pocket, it tends to catch a bit on them while pulling the knife out. The blade lock works, but is plastic so you have to make sure you don't accidentally toggle the lock on prior to closing the blade...or no more blade lock :). I have heard they do replace it for free though if you are worried about it. I personally never use the lock, and have had no issue with the blade opening unintentionally.

Awesome knife for the price
This is really an awesome little knife. With its small size and flatness, it is perfect as an every day carry (EDC) knife. The blade deploys almost like an automatic. The blade is razor sharp and holds an edge very well. The only potential issue that I should mention is that the blade can sometimes deploy unintentionally if the speed safe tab is accidentally bumped or pressed. You probably won't know it until you cut yourself while reaching into your pocket for something. I've had this happen a few times. The best way to prevent this is to be sure ALWAYS to use the manual blade lock device.

Awesome
Best knife I've ever had. It's the perfect size and allows me to just keep it in my front pocket, no clip. I actually removed the belt clip to make it leaner. The screws that hold it on have threadlocker on them that's stronger than the metal of the screw. So the torx screw will strip out before the screw gives. So I just drilled it out and filed down the remainder of the screws. The open assist is perfect. The only minor gripe is that I wish the blade was 1/4" shorter. The way it is now, the tip of the knife hits my palm as it's opening if I don't hold it in a particular way. I cut my palm a couple of times before I figured out how to hold it.

Well designed smaller every day carry knife.
This is a great little every day carry knife. I've been carrying it for four years now in rotation with a few other knives. Others have covered the technical specifications so I'll focus on my specific experiences and pros and cons of this knife. My primary use is is every day carry and that includes carrying it at work in an office environment, around the house and for DIY projects. I like that its thin, rides deep in my pocket and is unobtrusive. When I pull it out to use it, the knife isn't as scary looking as some of the larger more tactical knives in my collection. It's easy to sharpen and holds a reasonable edge. I have the stainless steel version and find the finish is tough and easy to clean. I'm right handed but carry in my left pocket. It was easy enough to switch the clip using a small torques screwdriver. The assisted opening is nice for a quick deployment but has opened in my pocket a few times which was pretty awkward. I didn't care for the safety lock which is supposed to prevent accidental opening. It was always locking when I didn't want it to. I ended up removing the safety lock so no more inadvertent locking but the trade off was a few accidental openings in my pocket. Ergonomics are great and I carry this knife more than any other in my small collection. Not to big or small, but just right. If I lost it, I would immediately buy another.

Solid EDC Knife
First of all, love Kershaw. Knife came out of the package super sharp and has so far (with a month of light/moderate use) retained its edge very well. Like the look of the aluminum handle, though it does show finger prints- a good shimmy keeps it nice and shinny. Feel of the knife is super comfortable for my hands (average sized female). Nice and light weight- frequently forget I'm carrying it. Assisted open is super fast and has a satisfying click to let you know you've locked it in place. Frame-lock works very well (a little hard to engage with short thumb nail). Two reasons I did not give this knife 5 stars: First, the manufacturer recommends not carrying this knife in the waistband. In some cases I find this preferable, but am leery of using this carry option due to the manufacturer warning. Though, the pocket-clip on the knife is very nice (tight with good retention). Second, the safety on the knife is a nice little feature, but engages sometime in my pocket. Not very convenient for some situations. However, I am just considering removing the safety- which shouldn't be too difficult once I find the right tool. Overall, I would highly recommend this knife if you're looking for a smaller EDC knife. Especially for a female, this knife feels like the right size and is super stylish. For me, this was the perfect knife (a good compromise between the Kershaw chive and leek).
