I heard a lot about Kevin Murphy when my friends discussed anti-frizz and moisturizing leave in creams, so I thought OK let's try this. I am very happy I did, it smells very nice, a few drops is more than enough, and it won't leave your hair very greasy. It is actually absorbed and helps tame frizz as well as protect before styling. I personally still use my argan oil because of its very strengthening qualities, but this is perfect for smooth and sleek styling if you are like me, addicted to straightening your hair.

The best serum on the market, whatever your hair type. A bottle lasts a long time, due to needing only a small amount per application. This product is also a great heat defence , for styling, thus providing a smooth and shiny finish, with no clogging or stickiness, without applying further products. I would recommend.

For reference I have fine textured hair that sits right above my shoulders in a long bob. I get highlights and wanted to switch my normal leave in conditioner to a hair oil with added heat protection. Not all hair oils have heat protection so I had to narrow it down. I stumbled upon Kevin Murphy and decided to give it a try. It does everything it claims to do! I apply the oil to damp hair after the shower and before blow drying/flat ironing. It makes my hair feel hydrated, soft, smooth and I love that it has added heat protection so it’s a one and done product for me! It also made it much easier to brush through any tangles. I don’t like using a ton of products but it’s important for me to have a good leave in due to hair bleaching and regular use of hot tools. My hair literally looks and feels so good when using this. Because I have fine short/medium hair I only need two pumps, one on each side. So a little goes a long way. It’s expensive but the bottle will last me a while. I have tried Moroccanoil in the past and I like Kevin Murphy way better. I didn’t have any issues with it weighing my hair down either which is a huge plus. My hair was previously dry from highlights and this has been a huge game changer. I would highly recommend this hair oil! It’s great quality.
