Excellent tool nice & easy to use a must for all push bikes at least e-bike owners should have one to keep an eye on their chain. Replacing a chain cheaper than the cassette & cog at the front

Love it, simple tool that tells you if your chain has worn. Not cheap but feels quality and that it will last.

Does exactly what it should, great quality as expected, slowly replacing all of the cheap tools with Park tools

Better quality than the photos suggest
This is a nice tool. There is a knack to using it correctly so a degree of mechanical sympathy is required but most careful people should have no problem getting an acceptable indication of chain wear. The cam design of measuring minute distances is clever and the materials are all good quality. It comes in a flimsy plastic tray which I think is a shame. The pins are a bit too fragile to keep this loose in a toolbox so it would have been nice to get a decent cardboard or plastic box to store it in.

Great little tool
Great little tool. Easy to use. All of my own chains read as effectively 'brand new'. Customer chain I thought bad was off the scale. Good to confirm!

Much accurate than cheaper ruler type ones. Park Tool quality. Must have.
Much accurate than cheaper ruler type ones. This gives more accurate readings over the ruler type. Be aware of cheap non branded ones they give false reading! Buying Park Tool you know you are buying quality stuff. It is made from alumium so be careful do not drop it on hard surfaces.

New chain shows worn
Checked a brand new chain with this and shows already worn, probably never use this due to this factor

Excelente herramienta para comprobar con rapidez y precisión diversos grados de desgaste de cadena. Antes de comprarlo pregunté en la tienda donde me reparan la bicicleta si era mejor este medidor o uno fijo, y me dijeron que es mucho más preciso y fiable este modelo de Park Tool. Me hizo una demostración con un par de aparatos, entre ellos éste. Aunque el precio no es barato puede ahorrarnos bastante dinero en averías.
