LEGO Creator 10232 Palace Cinema

I've been putting this review off for awhile until I could get some good pictures of how I added lighting, so here it goes... Just a wonderful build from start to finish. For those of you who are adding this to your "city", this kit makes a great corner building. Was it easy to build and how much time did it take? As with any Lego kit with 100+ bricks, an adult to help with the tricky parts will go a long way. It's not a difficult build, but if you put one brick in the wrong place, it could set you back many steps to find the error. I took my time with this kit, so you're looking at about 50-60 hours. It has two floors, the lobby and the theater. There is a staircase that leads to the roof, but there's not much to do up there. The roof section is easily removed giving full access to the theater. The theater portion of the building is also easily removed giving full access to the very busy and very detailed lobby. All sections go back together with no difficulty. The cinema is modular and attaches to other buildings on both sides. Even though this is a large building and only has two levels, I found this building has more "stuff" going on inside then most of the other kits. The lobby alone will keep the kids interest for a long time. This is a very easy and good kit to play with. And with a little lighting it is a very attractive building and will be a wonderful addition to your growing city. Update 11/10/18 I was asked about the lithium battery listed in the product description. It says one (1) battery is needed and not included. Unless there has been an update to the kit, there is nothing at all in the kit that would require a battery of any kind. The lighting I used for my kit I bought from Brick Loot.
