Great replacement for my dash camera.

Does work great as a charger but is finicky as a replacement power cord for my Garmin

Works perfectly at first, but the connection point is weak, and broke after 3 months

While I don’t care for the mini-usb to micro-usb adapter required for most any dash cam, it does work as it should. Also, even in my relatively small BMW 2-series, the cord was about 1-2ft too short to allow for it to be nearly tucked away and connected to the cigarette lighter in the back. That would not be an issue if I’d of used the front power outlet but that’s a messy look I wanted to avoid.

Any time the weather drops below freezing, the charger cord snaps immediately and frays at the base of the charger. Within a week, it stops reliably charging and not long after that it doesn't work anymore. I even reinforced it with electrical tape prior to using, but it didn't help. Note to the manufacturers: PLEASE make cords rated for freezing temps!

Works as I expected

Fit perfectly in the center console where our plug is. Only issue, this cord doesn't give our screen the brightness the original cord did. Still a nice last minute replacement, but not perfect.

Very good working amazing

Great quality, long lead & includes clips & ties in order to install in car interior "properly". Connectivity is via standard Mini USB, kit includes U-USB(Micro) converter if needed though. Plug unit does not have additional USB socket, as some do, so you can't have the cam & another device connected at the same time, using this item (not an issue for me as car has ample USB ports dotted around). The fact it includes the installation kit as standard, makes this fantastic value for money as normally that would need to be purchased separately. Hard to comment on charging speed as cam is "always on" but it's rated as high as can be for 12.5V (Input) system, without being unsafe (5V-3A Output). Hard to see in the video, but about 12cm of cable left, bunched & tied behind camera mount, out of sight; easily enough to reach without cutting corners.👌🏼👍🏼 Bought via Amazon Resale/Warehouse & literally good as-new, so even happier customer here as saved 40% on regular price...Cheers: Easy.
