This stainless smokeless outdoor fire pit is being sold by the brand east oak. At the time of this review, it is priced at 215 dollars with 211 ratings averaging at 5 stars on Amazon. It is made with 304 stainless steel and is a 3 part unit consisting of the 21 inch pan stove, a flame ring, and a removable ash tray. It also includes a long tool with a wood handle that operates as a fire poker and is used to remove the ash tray. Product Con’s: Other than the change in coloration of the stainless steel after repeated usage (which I expected and occurs with all stainless fire pits), I have not found a single con with this product to date! Product Pro’s: The price for this pit is extremely reasonable when compared to similar products. It produces a tremendous amount of heat that radiates a full 360 degrees. The heat can be from several feet away. It was felt level with the top of the fire ring and up and extends to the surrounding area in a mushroom cap like dome of heat. It did an excellent job burning off excess smoke. Upon the initial lighting of the fire or when a new batch of wood is added are the only times the smoke is apparent. Once the fire pit is heated or the new batch begins to burn thoroughly, the smoke is hardly noticeable. It cools faster than expected after a full burn and the ash cleanup could not be made easier, making this fire pit highly portable. The overall quality and product features are amazing. The built in stands and added vent holes at the base not only protect what’s underneath from heat damage, but I found that it allowed the fire to breath better, producing high heat and a steady burn. I could not be more impressed with this fire pit, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quick and easy fire at home, camping, on RV trips, while tailgating, and at any party or outdoor gathering where I assure you, this fire pit will make all the difference!

There are so many of these stainless steel fire pits for sale. It is hard to know which one to buy. I got the East Oak Camber. I’m glad I did. In looking at the products I learned that one thing that sets them apart is the type of stainless steel that is used. Looking at the reviews of many of the cheaper models, I saw complaints that they rusted out. I didn’t think stainless steel rusted. So I did a little digging. I learned there are different grades of stainless steel. Some are not really meant to be exposed to the weather. I learned that grade 304 is the type of stainless steel I wanted to make sure the fire pit wouldn’t rot. Camber advertises this grade of steel. That’s why I bought it. It also looks a little different than the many solo stove clones. I like how it looks. I used wood pellets to start it. I added logs once the fire got going. It’s very easy. And the results are impressive. The flames are hypnotic. I love seeing the secondary combustion flames shoot from the holes. It throws off a lot of heat too. It really sets the mood for a gathering of friends and family around the fire. The kids made smores. They loved it. Cleanup is pretty easy thanks to the removable ash pan. The fire burns so intensely that not much debris is left. One knock is that some particles fell below the ash pan because it tilted when I removed it. It’s hard to get those out. Still, I am satisfied with my choice. I had never heard of East Oak before buying this, but I am interested in their other products now. This one was thoughtfully designed and made from good quality materials.

I was super impressed by the East Oak fire pit! As a 63 year old, I get skeptical about online reviews. I’ve had cheaper fire pits that rust out and my wife has allergies that makes it hard for her to enjoy smokey fire pits, so I rolled the dice and went with the 29” East Oak and it’s well worth the money, very little smoke, looks great, burns really well and easy to clean out. Unfortunately after inspecting the wooden handle ( real wood) on the fire hook, I noticed it had a split in the wood. I contacted customer service and they immediately sent me a replacement with zero hassle! I don’t have the luxury of a second home, but if I did, I would order another one!

Nice product. It smokes when first lit but as it heats up, smoke almost completely vanishes. Puts off a lot of heat.

Looks good, works well. Great air-flow for quick lighting of the fire. Stainless steel makes it reasonably lightweight but stable. We bought the stainless steel lid separately, which I recommend, along with the vynl cover (which is of decent quality and easy to put on / take off the unit.

As all of these smokeless fire pits the flame and heat goes straight up and there's very little radiant heat from the sides while sitting. This is more of a fire to watch and not feel....unless standing next to it, then you'll feel extreme heat. I read a review that said east oak gives heat from the sides too....that's bull. Not happening. My guests were inching closer to the pit in hopes to get warmth and failed. There seems to be black smoke that smells like hot metal or fuel....I hope this dissipates. The fire is HOT, the coals are HOT but it goes up to the heavens and away from those wanting warmth. Made well, looks nice, delivered fast. It's good for ambiance on a warm summer eve....not for the cold days. UPDATE: I can't express how amazed I am with customer service. They really listen to the customer and want to deliver a quality product....and this they do very very well. The stove is made exceptionally well and exceeds the price point. I get a lot of compliments on the stoves quality and interesting shape. Issues with the black smoke seems to have gone. After communications with East Oak I learned heat from the sides will be diminished on windy days....and this is true. So, the heat does not always go up to the heavens. ;)

I just got this in 2 days ago. That night I tried it for the first time. A couple years ago I bought a normal fire pit. I only had used it twice in the past years as it was hard to get a fire going in it. it sits covered on my patio. I went out the other night with my new 17 inch East Oak. I put a small paper bag and 4 pieces of kindling in and lit it. within 2 minutes it was burning like a charm. Put several splits on it and had a great campfire going. So easy to enjoy within minutes. I planned to use it last night, but a long thunderstorm ended those plans. Two years of my other fire pit sitting unused, and I was already looking forward to my second night with this new one. I even went a bought a bag of marshmallows for the first time in years. It burned for several hours on just the 3 splits and an unsplit 3 inch diameter chunk. I went out yesterday morning to do the excellent setup it has for the ash dump. It incinerates the wood into fine ash that is on a tray and pan that you pull out with the provided fire tool. You can pt it in a metal trash can, even though it was completely cold, or use it in compost. Came back and picked up the 13 pound base and dumped the trace amount of ash left out. At 72, bringing back the feeling of being 25 and sitting around a campfire that isn't a load of work to get going is priceless. To have that for less than $60, at the time. is worth every penny. On the East Oak site this is selling for $187! Hoping the weather cooperates tonight so I can enjoy a few toasted marshmallows again. Another great thing about this is I can easily put it in the trunk of my car with some wood and have a fire any place it won't get stolen before I can dump the ash the next morning.

I purchase the stove in December 2022. Although there is a little smoke when starting the fire, it is virtually smokeless when it gets going. It puts out a lot of heat, but because the combustion air intake is in the center of the bottom, the surface it sits on stays cool. I have burned it for hours on my wood deck with no affect to the deck. My only disappointment was that the removable ash pan warped from the heat and became stuck. After nearly a year I decided to email customer service to see if there was any way to fix this. They responded immediately offering to send a new ash pan and ideas on how to get the old one un-stuck. After trying what they suggested, I still could not remove the ash pan. When I told them this, they immediately sent me an entire replacement stove. Looking at the ash pan in the new stove revealed that it was a much improved design that could not get stuck and was also improved in other ways. Now I am enjoying nearly effortless ash removal. With the new design ash pan, the stove certainly deserves 5 stars. However there customer service was so professional and responsive, that they deserve 6 stars.
