My son is 7 and has been upset by mosquitos this spring. I felt confident he was old enough to safely use this product and not get tangled up and I could place it safely from a fire perspective. He is delighted and no longer scared in his bed by the actual or imagined mosquitos. We didn’t need the extra string length included and have very high ceilings. His bed is a double sleigh bed so pretty large. This seems good quality and has ribbons at the openings to show the seams to move to get out. We are pleased :)

It kept the mosquitoes out. We used it for 5 weeks and did not have a problem with it. It is important to make sure you tie up the top of the net where the 'doors' or entrance/exits are so that the material overlaps adequately. There are several loops to tie up to keep the net upright in a cube/cuboid shape. I bought one then when I saw the quality of it I bought a second one for the same trip. One for me and one for the children. Even though the children are in and out of it when they are playing the net was strong enough (it did not rip). I waited until I had finished using it for the full 5 weeks before I did the review so that I could give a complete experience. The items comes with hooks that you can screw into the ceiling (we did this). It screwed in easily. It also comes with strings so you could tie the loops up with the string and tie the other end of the string to items in the room that are up enough.

So easy to attach this dome top to ceiling, just by one person! Put this over my King size bed, thinking annoying summer flies flying near me (as bedroom window open) will be a thing of the past. Added bonus, looks very attractive as well. Netting good quality & well made. All In all, really great buy!

I bought this to create a cute little book nook in my classroom, no exaggeration, the popularity increased 10 fold overnight! The children absolutely love the den like feel, it creates a secret hideaway whilst I can still keep an eye on the little monkeys. It's a great size, good length, hanging from the ceiling it drapes on the floor and has a really wide span when stretched out. I staple it to the walls to keep it up and after a year of the children accidently pulling it down, there's still no major tears. It's been jumped on, wrapped around and rolled over by 30 six year olds and its still going strong. A highly recommended product to make a budget den. I'm so jealous, I would have loved one of these as a kid!

I used it as a mosquito net whilst abroad in the Caribbean to keep out mosquitoes and other bugs. It didn’t quite fit comfortably over a double bed. It was not big enough to tuck into the sides of the bed so there were gaps for the bugs to get in. I would advise to size up to a king size bed if you have a double. Otherwise it was a good product.

I purchased this to use on my tiny apartment balcony. Not only are the mosquitos bad, but the moths are the size of hummingbirds! I got tired of always batting them away, so I got this beautiful net. It's huge, which is great! I can fit 4 chairs and a small table underneath it! It was easy to put a small hook up and that holds it well. The hoop at the top is large and there are two overlapping entrances. I have been enjoying evenings on my balcony ever since and don't know why I didn't do this years ago. Highly recommend this one!

Eigentlich haben wir wenig Mücken in unserer Gegend (Dortmund), aber da es immer wärmer wird, und auch ortsfremde Arten Zugang zu uns gefunden haben, wurde es Zeit, Gegenmaßnahmen zu treffen. Guter Schlaf ist Gold wert, aber wenn man ständig durch das Gesumme einer anfliegenden Mücke in der Nacht hochschreckt, dann ist es vorbei mit der Erholung. So habe ich mich nach Moskitonetzen auf Amazon.de umgesehen. Dieses hier im Angebot gekauft und kaum 2 Tage nach Lieferung war Mückenalarmstufe rot im Schlafzimmer. Das Biest hatte mich mehrmals erwischt, sogar durch die Kleidung hindurch als ich noch im Wohnzimmer am PC saß. Stach mir in den Arm, in die Hand, in den Bauch, in den Nacken, und es juckte wie die Hölle. Abhilfe konnte ich sofort mit einem Byte-Away-Stick schaffen, aber den kann ich schlecht im Schlaf anwenden. Also das erste Mal für die Nacht das Netz installiert. Da ich über dem Bett schon einen Haken angebracht hatte, konnte ich das Netz aus der mitgelieferten Nylontasche entnehmen. Der Kunststoffring, der als Spreize zum offenhalten des Netzes dient, ist flexibel und und quasi gefaltet. Bei der Entnahme aus der Tasche entfaltet sich der Ring. In der Mitte der Spreize ist die Halteschnur mittig angebracht, mit Stopper zum Fixieren der Schnurlänge und zusätzlichem Karabinerhaken aus schwarzem Kunststoff. So läßt sich das Netz auf eine bestimmte Höhe einstellen. Beruhigend war, dass das Material kaum Eigengeruch auswies, denn schließlich muss man unter dem Netz die ganze Nacht verbringen. Das Netz ist feingesponnen in der Art, dass es zwar flexibel, aber trotzdem formstabil ist. Die Maschen sind fein genug, um auch kleine Mücken abzuwehren. (Hatte im Laufe der Monate verschiedene Gattungen im Raum und keine von ihnen konnte mich unter dem Netz erreichen) Das Netz läßt einen Zugang zur Schlafstelle, wobei sich die Enden am Spalt reichlich überlappen, sodass man den Eingang wirklich dicht bekommt. Alle Säume sind mit Saumband sauber eingefasst. Mein Bett hat eine Fläche von 150x210, was großzügig abgedeckt wird, doch das Netz wäre auch für etwas größere Formate geeignet. Im Aufbewahrungsbeutel, der sich mit einer Kordel verschließen läßt, befindet sich noch eine kleine 4-seitige Bröschüre mit Downloadlinks zu den Instruction-Manuals (auch mit QR-Code), aber die braucht man nicht wirklich, da die Installation selbsterklärend ist. Dazu noch ein kleines Tütchen mit einem Spreizdübel Gr. 6 und einem Deckenhaken, zudem noch ein Stück Mesh zum Ausbessern von kleinen Löchern, falls einem dochmal ein Missgeschick mit dem Netz passiert ist, was ich aber aufgrund der Stabilität des Materials eher nicht erwarte. Ich war erstaunt, ein solch hochwertiges und gut konzeptioniertes Produkt zu solch einem guten Preis zuerhalten. Der Kauf war ein echter Segen. Das Netz hat mir viele erholsame Nächte beschert. Und besonders erfrischend war der Gedanke, dass mich die Biester diesmal nicht mehr als Blutbank missbrauchen konnten. C'est un peu l'impression que cela donne quand on est à l'intérieur, d'être bien protégé avec un effet cathédrale. Pour le montage, on conseille généralement de placer le crochet à une distance d'un quart en partant de la tête de lit, si vous le mettez pile à la moitié vous risquez de vous retrouver avec le voile qui vous tombe sur le visage. sur la photo on voit que la moustiquaire est un peu courte pour envelopper le pied du lit, bien qu'en utilisant le cordon fourni il serait possible de la baisser de 40cm et gagner autant de longueur. Mais ce n'est pas forcément utile, le voile tombe bien à plat sur la couette cela suffit pour interdire le passage aux moustique...du moins théoriquement car depuis que j'ai installé la moustiquaire pas un de ces pénibles n'a daigner montré le bout de son nez dans la chambre.
