This is a medium heavy 1 piece rod. Heavy duty in construction.

This item was packaged very well and at 1st glance looked amazing. But, when I attempted to put the 2 pcs. Of the rod together, the end pc. would only insert into the butt end about half the way and then wanted to seize up, making it a permanent one pc. Rod, which I do not want. I contacted Amazon and the were fantastic. They have another rod on its way and even told me to keep the original rod. Talk about great service. Thank you.

Haven’t caught anything with it yet, but it looks battle ready. The colors look great. Nice sized eyelets make it easy to string line. Hopefully it’ll perform as good as my other Ugly Stik rod.

I absolutely love this pole, as it is my first good quality one, what sucks was the packaging, it came in a clear plastic b a g, not a box, a b a g, when it got here some of the eyelets were bent and I was worried that it broke in shipping, but luckily it was alright.

Been a believer in the ugly stick rods for over 40 years now. Very well made rod, got my first rod back in the middle 70s ,and never looked back. And they are still priced right today. Take my word for it, the ugly stick won't let you down. I highly recommend this product!
