I needed to leave my cat for a few days therefore I purchased this item. I was able to put two food sachets in each container and only had it turned once per day. I was concerned when I arrived back after the weekend to discover two rather large side bowls of biscuits eaten and everything completely gone out of this feeder! Seriously, she does not eat normally this amount of food per day. Therefore, she must've been comfortable eating out of this machine. It worked well, it turned when it should've done (I set it for 7 am every morning.) The added bonus of my voice was perfect as when I tested it prior to leaving it worked perfectly. Overall very happy only mild niggle is the reset button is underneath therefore if you have it full of food it's a bit awkward and the setting up took a little bit of reading and sussing out. Whilst it's the most expensive cat feeder on Amazon it is of good quality, it looks very smart and overall it appears reliable, my cat eats out of it and loves it and she remains healthy when I'm unable to be here over a couple of days!

Easy to set up and use. Love that you can plug it in to the mains rather than rely on battery. I use this when I go away for a day or two along with other feeders and find it really reliable. The cats have not been able to break into it.

Received the item without a UK plug. Found an adaptor and plugged it in. When switched on, red light (REC) comes on and will not switch off. None of the buttons work. Tried switching it on and off again multiple times as per instructions with no success. Tried emailing address on manual but got no answer. It's going back. Very disappointed as I loved the idea - assume I got a faulty item but not ready to take the risk again especially at this price.

It’s a lot bigger tham I thought it would be. Works well, though, it’s a shame my pup doesn’t want to go anywhere near it (not the product’s fault, I guess my pup is just being weird). Will keep it just in case I need to be away for longer than usual.

I had to go out of town last minute for a couple of days and my pet boarder had no spaces so, although puttisg down a large supply of hay and nuggets wasn't a problem, I needed a solution to keep my piggies in fresh veg for both days, because whatever I put down they would eat immediately and then have nothing for day 2 (and piggies have to have fresh food everyday). I looked at all the automatic pet feeds available and decided on this one, mainly because it was mains charged but also because four closed feeding slots meant that I could provide fresh veggies twice a day for 2 days. I had no idea if it would work with them but I filled all five slots with a variety of chopped up fresh food and put it down in their feeding area so they got the idea that they should eat from that and not wait for their normal bowl. I shouldn't have worried. There isn't a piggie alive that can't sniff out fresh food at 20 paces and when I returned and checked the GemPet all food had been eaten and I felt a lot less guilty about leaving them on their own for 2 days. My first choice will always be to board them, but I now know that in an emergency, or even if I just stay away overnight, I can make sure that they get scheduled feeds of the fresh stuff.

Brilliant product, really sturdy construction and pleasing design. Like the dual power sources and low battery light indicator - reassuring for the worriers. Haven't tried the recorder - doubt there's space/money for good quality audio on this kind of thing - and my cat needs no prompting to find his food !

Cat loves it....gives me peace of mind when I go out so I know he cant over indulge and throw it up bless him

This Jempet Automatic Pet Feeder was purchased for my Bombay cat. He is very curious and I was a little concerned that he would figure out a way to breach the feeder thereby neutralizing its usefulness. I have been using the JemPet Automatic Pet Feeder now since October 2017, and it is holding up very well. I did record my voice to the feeder and when my cat hears it and hears the tray spin, he goes running to the feeder as expected. My JemPet has batteries as well as an adapter that plugs into the wall. This is an excellent feature so it does not lose its programming. I have not experienced a single instance where the feeder has failed to feed on the programmed schedule. I feed four times per day: 6:00 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 6:00 p.m., and 10:00 p.m. The feeding tray is easy to clean and I have discovered that I also have to clean the lid daily as well. Somehow my cat soils the lid with food, so it has to be cleaned as well. The lid locks down securely and you will hear and feel it click into place. I like that assurance. It is well made and does not feel cheap. I have a iRobot Roomba vacuum that bumps into it a few times a day, but it takes the bumps with no problems. My only regret is that I did not buy one of these Jempet Automatic Feeders years ago. It is so nice to meal prep for my cat for an entire day the night before. My cat can tell time, so he knows when he needs to be near the feeder, LOL.

This is our second purchase for my second cat for wet food. It's been working well for us, no complaints so far. The only odd thing about it is that, (I can't remember which one is which but) the first one cost $50 more and it was called Gempet, and the second one I JUST got is called "Jempet". G and J..... strange..... Is cheeper one a knock off? I don't know. There are a couple of very minor differences I've noticed, but nothing to effect the function. Overall, we are happy with them. Works well, easy to set it, and cats can't break into them.

Très pratique si on s'absente ou que l'on veut faire la grasse matinée ! Notre chien à très vite compris le lien "message" et "croquettes ". Les compartiments sont un peu justes si on mets une friandise type os. A noter quelques soucis de contact et tout s'éteint... vite remis en route.
