Cosmos - Bright Lights Mix - 500 Flower Seeds

Absolutely fantastic! The seeds grew well, turned into strong plants; the flowers went on for months! Gorgeous bright orange, so cheerful 😄

Easy to grow

These germinated really well and are growing beautifully in my garden. However they are all the same colour - orange, there are no yellow ones. A bit disappointed because all my calendulas are orange too so not much contrast.

Seeds were delivered quickly No instructions on the packet ( foil sealed packet with 1 year expiry date) If you want to know how to sow..refer back to item listing and you'll find instructions there Plenty of seeds in pack didn't count them but says 900. I've sown half the pack and i would say around half germinated...that's a lot of seedlings so I've given some to friends and family Basically i sowed these on a sunny kitchen window sill in April in ordinary compost from the supermarket ( peat free ) started to sprout within 7 days and when they were 3 inches high and frosts over I put them outside I've put them into pots and wherever i have space and look forward to seeing them flowering soon Friends and family say the seedlings are doing very well I would definitely buy from this supplier again as I think value for money and germination rate are excellent

Healthy large plants.

These have just begun to flower in my garden. They are a stunning addition. Lots of exciting firework brights in amongst the more pastel colours of the other plants. They took longer to germinate and grow to flowering size than I expected but are very much worth the wait. I made sowings in May and June, it was very wet and overcast in those months. On each occasion, I made some sowings into seed boxes in a cold frame and some direct into the border. Slugs got the border sowings, there was a high germination rate in the cold frame. They are smaller than the pink and white mixture of cosmos that I have grown in the past. They also have a less lacey leaf that, as a seedling, could be mistaken for a daisy or french marigold. I will definately be growing these again next year.

So I’m a little disappointed by the packaging. There’s no picture of what the flowers look like or optimal sowing time period. These are meant to be a gift for my mother. I suppose that was you get for a packaging with 900 seeds in it. Oh well. She’ll just have to wait and see when they grow.

Just had first batch out of heated propogater, up within a couple of days, can’t comment on flowers, will be some time before they get to that stage. Very happy with germination…
