Best headphones I have owned.
What can I say about this headset that will do it justice?. Well first off I love that I can have this connected to two different setups and switch between them as well as have my phone connected to it simultaneously! Sound is great I play a lot of first person shooters as well as a simulation style game called war thunder where being able to identify where a vehicle is on a map based off of sound is very important and I have no complaints. The size to hate phone is very comeble and I do not get tired of wearing them and I use this set for both gaming and while working from home. The controls are super straightforward and very easy to learn. Also being able to swap batteries is such an amazing feature and I can't believe other brands aren't doing it. It's just another level of convenience. To top it all off it doesn't scream gamer headphones and I could realistically wear these on a bus or on a plane and they won't scream gamer headphones. Noise cancellation is good but not the best I've experienced but I don't have much noise in my room so it doesn't really matter to me that much. However I believe it could get the job done in noisier environments.

Best Headset I have owned.
Best headset for gaming and work. I have owned Sony's, Corsair , and used Airpods for work. These are hands down the best. NOTE: I use these minimum 4 hours per day with work, audio books/music, or gaming. Purchased Feb 2023. Writing this Aug 2023. Pros: This headset comes with an external device that charges you extra battery AND allows for Two audio inputs. The 2 audio inputs I use to have my work and gaming laptop plugged in at once so its two clicks to switch over to the other computer You can get PC sound and Bluetooth sound at the same time. I often will game and listen to an audio book on my phone. Boom mic is great for work calls and discord conversations, allows you to mute whenever. Having two batteries make it a quick swap to continue gaming and not have to wait to use the headset. Comes with steelseries software that enhances any gaming experience and allows you to customize your sound. Range of Bluetooth and PC connection is good, does have a max but I can go through out most the house with out losing connection. Headset is comfy, wear it most the day without too much irritation. Cons: Noise canceling could be better. Expensive. I hesitated buying them for over a year, they never go on sale. Wish I would have bought them earlier, 100% worth it for me.

A gamers dream headset.
Best headset I've ever had. Worth ever penny. Great quality build and the sound is absolutely amazing. It is the only headset I've ever owned where I had to lower the volume. The ability to change out the batteries is a game changer. And the equalizer option are fantastic. The only one thing I would change is the mute button. On my headset it can be a bit tricky as it gets stuck from time to time, but it might just be my unit, I'm not sure. Either way this gaming headset is incredible. 10 out of 10

Base station has short lifespan
Great headphones, love the swappable battery and dual wireless (RF+bluetooth). The base station (RF transceiver), however, has major issues. Mine failed after 2 years, most likely the power supply or USB controller (not a firmware issue like some users have reported). I bought another base station secondhand, and that also failed after 1 year. It seems like this is a widespread problem, so I wouldn't buy this again. Which is a shame, because it's otherwise quite a nice headset.

Wireless headset with hassle-free charging
I'll break down my review by the various features. Firstly, the sound output. This headset sounds really good overall. Compared to previous headphones I've used, the range and consistency across the range is easily superior. That being said, note that I'm not comparing it to $1,000 studio headphones or anything. But compared to similarly priced headphones, I can hear a lot more detail in sounds while playing a game, for example. Music also sounds good through it, including deeper ends of bass, though if you want it really impactful, you might want to run it through an EQ. The SteelSeries GG software works great for that. Next, active noise cancellation. I would like it to be a little better at blocking out fans and such, but it does a decent job, especially if you have any sounds playing. I don't have a lot of experience with high-end ANC to compare it to, and I haven't tried it on an airplane or anything, but it's noticeably better than my last headphones. The most incredibly useful feature, in my opinion, is the GameDAC. Mostly for its infinity charging system. The ability to quickly and easily swap out the battery, and always have one charging, means never having to plug it in (and lose the ANC.) My biggest complaint with my last wireless headphones was having to have them plugged in if the battery ran low, and have annoying cables (one for power and one for audio) on my shoulder, which also changed the sound dynamics and disabled ANC. The battery charges faster than it drains, so if one runs out, you only have a few seconds of down time, then you've got a fully charged battery again. The GameDAC is also great if you use GG's Sonar to mix different applications to different channels, because you can control your game/chat mix with the GameDAC, removing the need to switch away from your game or whatever you're doing. Finally, the microphone. I'm not a fan of the microphone quality; the range isn't that good, so it sounds a little like a walkie-talkie effect, though not nearly as drastic. It's sufficient for getting the point across in a group chat or voice meeting, but don't think it will replace a dedicated broadcast mic if you're going to stream or publish videos. But you probably already knew that if you're doing those things. That being said, if you're not using the mic, it very seamlessly hides away within the earpiece, which is great. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.
