General Finishes High Performance Water Based Topcoat, 1 Quart, Dead Flat

If you’re looking for something that doesn’t disturb the under color, produces a really flat hardly no sheen, then this is it. Kinda expensive, but it does the job, then it doesn’t matter. I spray all my finishes, so I can’t say anything about brushing or rolling.

Wonderful product. Leaves wood looking and almost feeling like wood, yet protects it. Ease to apply with a foam roller.

Perfect match and finish for a completely natural look. Needed to match some doors to the flooring and this is it. No sheen, just 1 tone darker.

Used this on my dining table. Very easy to apply and has a very matte finish with minimal color change. My 1 and 2 year old have put it to the test with spills and messes, and it protects the wood very well. Highly recommend.

Definitely NOT a dead flat finish, maybe a tad under satin at best. But probably the best and certainly the dullest I’ve used.

For me this did not spread out well as it dried so the finish was not perfectly smooth. I think that this requires more expertise than other finishes I’ve used.

Simple application. I did several applications because I just wanted to be sure That the table top was protected. Does the job well. Very flat, as promised.
