Oven Cleaning Kit 500ml

This is the best oven cleaner I've ever used. No odour or fumes. Great on glass and enamel. So easy to use. Just brush on, leave for a couple of hours and wipe off.

I was too ashamed to show a "before" picture: the state of my oven was an embarrassment. The oven has a pyrolytic function that I don't use because (a) the cost and (b) horrible acrid smell it produces as it does its job. Oven Mate has become my best mate. I had previously bought the full kit that includes shelf cleaning bags etc, but found some items in the package surplus to requirements, so bought the oven cleaner as a standalone product. It's exceptional. Dab on the gel with the included brush, making sure to wear protective gloves and arm sleeves, also provided, and walk away. I left the gel on overnight and the following day wiped the gunk with kitchen roll. Result! I found I'd missed a bit so dabbed gel on the offending patch, left it a couple of hours and wiped clean. A final wipe with a soapy cloth and you'd think I'd bought a new oven. What a sense of achievement. The contents of the bottle are enough for 3-4 ovens. Highly recommend.

I had to clean a really really dirty oven and this product needed to be applied twice. The first time I left it for 2-3hrs, which got rid of the first/newest layer of dirt, then I had to re-apply it to get rid off the old dirt and I left it overnight. PROS: - it has no irritating smell - arms protectors provided (that's very helpful, you won't burn your skin) - very good for a bit dirty and moderately dirty ovens - the product did a good job with a EXTREMELY DIRTY oven after applying it twice - the product is really thick, so it lasts longer CONS: - I found it annoying to apply it with the provided brush, it takes forever, maybe a spray bottle would be better - had to reapply it and leave overnight to get rid of all the dirt (the oven was extremely dirty so I guess it had to be done)

I am so pleased to finally find an oven cleaner that actually WORKS! My oven is totally minging. There's no other word for it. I had tried a so called heavy duty industrial strength cleaner that was useless and a mental scraper that was helpful but requires lots of effort, elbow grease and time. I decided to give this a try as people had mentioned that you could leave it to clean and just needed to wipe off when it's done (perfect when you have an active 7 month old!). When I first received it, I used it on the wire rack that goes inside the oven. I left it on while I got on with my day. When I came to remove the gel the wire rack was cleaned to perfection in the areas where the gel was applied. I was a bit hap hazard about applying it and the areas where I had missed or only put a tiny amount of gel were not as clean but that's my fault for not being more thorough. I applied the gel to the oven on the evening, leaving it overnight. It worked wonders. It's so clean I am really happy but again, I was haphazard when applying so there are a few areas on the sides that are not 100% clean but are a lot better than they were before. I aim to do a second application tonight on the areas I missed. I would definitely recommend this product as it really does the trick. You apply and leave and it just seems to melt the grease away. I'm so impressed that I am going to buy another bottle. I live in army quarters and when you move properties you have to clean EVERYTHING and if it's not satisfactory you get charged. I would normally pay someone to clean the oven but this time I'm going to use a bottle of this as I'm confident it'll do the trick (I just need to take more time when applying). Removal is probably the messiest part and most time consuming hence one star less for removal. I had to use lots of kitchen roll to mop up the dirty gel and it made quite a mess, next time I'll be more prepared. I also want to add that although it's toxic/ chemical based, it doesn't have a smell, it didn't make my nose water or anything (like most normal cleaners do). I should add a few tips that could help you when you use this for the first time 1. Take your time when applying so that not to miss areas 2. For bad parches use a thick layer 3. Ideally do it and leave overnight 4. Removal is messy and you need either lots of kitchen roll or cloths to mop up the mess. If you want a product that works then give this a try, you will be glad you did!

Brush it on, leave it for a while and then wipe it off. Best oven cleaner I've ever tried. Used this product for years. Really good. Does what it says etc.

Arrived on time and is the best oven cleaner available. Good value for the money and will clean the oven 3 to 4 times from one bottle. Dependant on how dirty the oven is.

Have used this product for many years and been very satisfied. This order was a replacement.

This product is ok. It's better than others, but I was expecting more. My oven is only 3 months old and it wasn't dirty, but there was a few baked on drips and splashes. I coated the oven, using it thicker in some areas. It got new fresh stains off very easily, but the baked on areas didn't move. I tried it again scrubbing the stains with the brush, and the gel didn't go brown. I left it for about 5 hours and still the gel was its original colour. I then used nearly a whole kitchen towel to get the gel out, then soapy water. Basically it was messy, hard to get the gel out the oven and only did a moderate job.

I’ve used this cleaner over and over again and it never lets you down. For best results leave on overnight, do use gloves as it doesn’t know what is oven and what is your skin. It does not stink and is reasonably priced in comparison to other oven cleaners. Take care to follow the instructions so as to avoid any damage on the worktops or cupboard fronts. It lasts ages as a little goes a long way. Definitely the best oven cleaner i have come across without costing a fortune.
