Excellent and super sharp! This zester works perfectly! It’s very sharp and makes zesting lemons, grating garlic, or even chocolate so easy. I bought this for a gift, but after comparing it side by side to my Oxo zester I had to return this one. It worked similarly enough and the multi-function cover did its job beautifully and I really liked it after I realized it slid instead of popping off. It was, however, enough harder to hold steady without the bumper in the end it the silicone handle when I used it that I decided the Oxo is worth the additional cost. I wanted so much to prefer this one but I just don't.

Rarely would I gush about a simple kitchen tool, but this grater/zester is a real game-changer. It's absolutely amazing. It zests lemon peels with very little effort and no waste (unlike box graters). It's great for fresh ginger, not the least bit bothered by the stringy stuff that clogs other tools. The design is ingenious, storing the very sharp blade safely, then using the cover to catch all that's grated in a very convenient trough. Cleanup is a snap by just running the blade under water. It's worth twice the price.

This is the best lemon zester I have found to avoid getting much of the white pith grated as well. I have also used for garlic cloves & it grates them like butter. Really love the sleeve to catch the grated bits, clean off the grater & storage protector.

I love this zester. It is VERY sharp and you don’t need much pressure to grate/zest lemons or limes. Easy on my wrist.
