I have 2 Brita Maxtra jugs, large and fridge door size. It was getting expensive buying a regular supply of the big brand filters, even when on sale. These are excellent replacements and filter just as fast and as good as the big brand. The affordability means I don't mind keeping up with regular replacement costs. I really do taste the difference between tap water before and after filtered through this. It's a much "cleaner, more mineral like, fresh" taste. They've also stopped me from buying bottled mineral water AND as I live in a hard water area, I don't have to change the Maxtra filter in my Brita filter kettle either which is looking much less limescale-y so I so I don't have to change the kettle filter as often as before as the water going into it has already been filtered. Very easy to click each filter into place as before too. Compatible with any Maxtra filter device. Very happy with them.

Works just as well as a brita filter and less cost

In general the quality was good, especially in the first two weeks. We live in a area with a low water quality as you can see in image. Please bear in mind that the usage is approximately and might be different than the exact amount of water we used.

Had to buy a new filter jug but didn’t want the expense of original filters so bought these. They work just as well. Because of the design of my jug I had to put a little adapter in it (these come in the box) to let the water flow freely out of the filter. No problems whatsoever. Would recommend

Some reviewers of these FilterLogic cartridges blatantly did not read the instructions before writing their reviews, I did! The included small green adapter is ONLY required if you have a newer Brita jug which has a "PerfectFit" restrictor valve (usually Maxtra+ and Maxtra PRO). How to tell: If there is a hole in your jug roughly the width of a child's finger and nothing is in that hole (i.e. you can see clearly to the bottom) then you do not need the green adapter. If instead you see a small piece of white plastic in there this is the PerfectFit valve and you do need the green adapter. Pros: Price, fit nicely in my old Maxtra jug, water flow speed from filter to bottom quite high, come equipped with a strong handle which is useful for removal. The box even includes 2 green adapters in case you lose one. Water tastes the same as it did with genuine Brita filters, I even tested both with a TDS water quality meter and the reading was the same. Cons: None. Read the instructions!

The only minor point is that they take a little longer to filter the first batch, which is typical with replacement cartridges, but after that, performance is smooth and reliable. Overall, these cartridges are a solid, cost-effective alternative to brand-name options and do the job efficiently while keeping water tasting fresh.

I only buy these filters for my Brita jugs as the water quality is the same, if not even better on some occasions, and it tastes the same. I've measured the TDS (Todal Dissolved Solids) with my specialist tool and after filtering with Brita it was 116 PPM, and after filtering with these filters it was 121 PPM. I got pretty much the same results +/- 5 PPM on multiple occasions, so I am happy with the results. The water tastes great, and there is no turbidity, unlike other filters that I have tried but won't mention here. One filter lasts for about 30 days, same as the Brita ones. To be honest, I use 2 water filter jugs with the filters changed at 2 weeks difference, and then I take my water through a restructuring and mineralising process that improves my water quality (I am a bit into live water). I use these filters with Marella and Maxtra jugs and they are 100% compatible using the plastic adaptor supplied. I will continue using these as I am extremely happy with them, provided they will continue to offer the same quality and functionality. I only buy the Brita filters if I need to replace one of my jugs and I take advantage of the offers provided by Brita to buy more cartridges and get the jug for free. Otherwise I always choose these filters over Brita.

It does the job, works fine. Cheaper than original Brita.

Probably the best filter. I tested 4 different well-known brands and this stands out. Better taste, better longevity.

Works great on my Brita (with the supplied valve). Be sure to not throw away the plastic valve because you may need it.
