Volumatic Spacer Device,for use with Allen & Hanburys inhalers

Very useful for improving inhaler use. I struggled to get technique right for using inhalers and never felt like they were working as I wasn't getting a good lung full before coughing it out. Spacers like this changed everything for me they make taking an inhaler feel like normal breathing. Eventually these get worn and dirty so need a good clean. But I've found that a quick run though the dishwasher works. Used to get these from the chemist but cheaper online here and easier. I bought a spare to keep in the car and one for work. Works with your standard blue and brown inhalers with the rectangular mouth piece.

I bought this as a backup for the one I already use. These are really excellent spacers and for me are superior to the more modern smaller ones. They really disperse the drug well so that there is much less likelihood of problems in the mouth and throat from a thrush infection from steroid inhalers. I get the feeling that these rather old fashioned looking devices may not be around for much longer so as a "just in case", that's why I purchased a second one. But they are well made, easy to clean/wash inside and will probably last forever provided not dropped!

This volumetric spacer device works for my husband he uses inhalers we bought this as a spare it just allows him to inhale without a problem, it's light weight value for money and easy to use

Didn’t know I needed to change one that I had had for 5 years. What a difference. There are also great instructions for the care and easier use of it.

It's good for what it is required for in helping to lessen the amount of thrush that some patients may get when using some of their inhalers.
