Review: An amazing book for a baker or healthy eating enthusiast, who wants to make delicious things ! - This book is excellent, I really recommend it if you want to eat or bake delicious and healthy recipes. So far I have made the mini carrot, spelt and spice scones.... amazing, seriously the best scones I have ever tasted! ( I used wholemeal spelt flour though, so the mix was a bit dry, so I added most of the egg which should have been used for glazing, but they turned out great!) I also made the banana bread last night, one for me and one for a mate. Absolutely delicious ! so moist and flavoursome, also one slice is so satisfying, not like' normal' white flour/ refined sugar baking which just makes me want to devour the whole unhealthy thing in one go! These recipes are different because if you spend the money and use good quality/ organic ingredients you can tell. The only downside is the cost of the organic ingredients the spelt flour, coconut oil in particular, but Fearne does mention this and advises you to shop online in bulk, which I am starting to do. I also made the quinoa porridge too ( was not keen at first as its the first time I have tried quinoa and to try cut some calories I used low fat coconut milk, so I think this did effect the taste) After my first bowl I loved it and its lovely nutty texture. I added a bit a skimmed milk to give it a bit more creaminess in the end. Finally the best thing about been a keen baker, but looking for healthy lower calorie bakes is the recipes I have tried are not too calorific. I am a target member of Slimming World and most of the recipes worked out between 5 and 8.5 syns per portion, this is great news for me because in the case of the scones 6.5 syns each, this is brilliant, next time I make them I will fill them with some 0% plain yogurt ...... heaven. Thank you Fearne for writing the book, its great. Review: I have used it lots! - I am not a huge cooking fan, since having this book I have cooked a lot more. So far I have had, the nut butters, the banana bread, the lentil salad, the vegetable bake, blueberry muffins and the ice lollies- I cannot really fault the recipes, they have worked and been tasty. I do not think this book advertises to be anything new, most healthy eating books have very similar recipes in, but I would say it's a nice book, that can be used most days. Pros: Relatively easy. Healthy recipes. Pictures with nearly all recipes - I like this, as I like to know what a dish 'should' look like. Offers alternatives to meats/cheeses. My children have eaten it all too. Cons: Some easy recipes, as mentioned in other comments, such as sweet potato fries. No nutritional information - it would have been nice to see Overall I would recommend it and buy it for other people as a gift.

Great book! Loved it!
Arrived much earlier than advised .. excellent! Pristine condition! Great selection of recipes to suit all tastes .. probably my favourite of Fearnes books as this suits our omnivorous requirements best with the fish and chicken dishes. The downside probably would be the more expensive ingredients such as spelt flour , medjool dates, chia seeds, Maca powder, amongst others, although I’m sure alternatives could be found. It’s a lovely book which I see myself using a lot!

Wonderful healthy recipe book
This book is just brilliant, I've only had it a week but so far I have made * Chia Seed Breakfast Puddings - delicious * American pancakes - my least favourite dish so far but my daughter loved them so I'm happy with that !! * Cucumber, kale, apple & lime juice - you can feel the healthiness of this as you drink it :) * Watermelon & lime slushie - very refreshing and tasty * Lemon cashew balls - love these !! Today I will be making the Courgette & Carrot Spaghetti and baking the basic cupcake & basic icing - can't wait :) There are so many lovely recipes in this book, I am very much looking forward to making more. I haven't seen any I wouldn't want to make! I love that all the recipes are super healthy but also straightforward to make so not too time consuming.

I am really very pleasantly surprised with this book. Everything that I have cooked from the recipes in it so far has been absolutely delicious! It also has excellent colour photos of the food and some snippets from Fearne that add to the overall 'character' of the book. As Fearne is vegetarian this is mainly veggie based recipes, but she has included a wonderful roast chicken recipe and some fish ones too. The roast chicken is not only super easy but SO tasty. Have also made her tofu casserole, kale and feta filo pie and quite a few of her 'nibbly' health bites. (Recommend the zesty lemon balls) Speaking as a non-vegetarian I have to say these are THE tastiest veggie recipes I have tried to date. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another cook book by her!

Amazing recipes
Have had this book for several months and although a little disappointed to begin with, I took a second look and it had honestly changed my view on using certain ingredients and I get very excited cooking the recipes. The pancakes are possibly the best I have ever made, the scones taste healthy but delicious and the fruit cake is incredible and ridiculously easy (no traditional creaming of fat and sugar as no fat!!). A lot of reviews mention expensive and difficult to source ingredients, they are pricier but good quality ingredients always are; healthy or otherwise, and most ingredients (including the coconut sugar) can be found in Tesco and Sainsbury's. A really good book to give some alternative ideas.

Excellent for healthy / vegetarian recipes
Bought three of Fearnes cookery books all love all three. Beautiful pictures...which my daughter and myself live in a cookbook... good clear recipes/methods. Well worth the money. Fearne also writes a personal piece at the beginning of her books which is lovely to read, she also writes information about different ingredients which is helpful and interesting. Good buys all three 🤩

Ingredients are not hard to find. Even the local name brand retail chain has most of them. I have several healthy cookbooks that call for odd ingredients that I'd have to order online. Not so here. I can find Spelt etc here in town. And I live in a small town. Shocker! It's veggies, coconut oil, fruits! Not moondust... Thank you Fearne. Not only did I get through Happy and feel better mentally...Now Cook Happy, Cook Healthy is doing the same for my frame!

Amazing healthy recipes. Lots of options to fulfill that sweet tooth in a healthy way. Recipes call for spelt flour, alternative sweeteners (maple syrup, coconut sugar), coconut oil, non dairy milk. The chocolate cake and banana bread are divine! One of my favorite cook books!
