I've been using a Linux for my desktop OS since 2004. Throughout this time, finding hardware that works with Linux has been a challenge. I decided to find a dongle with an antenna. I needed a dongle that had kernel support as I am now using Chromeos FLEX. My first try with a different brand didn't work. Thankfully Amazon allowed a return. This LOTEKOO brand had in a short passage "this adapter also compatible with Chromebook". It worked! Just plug and play. When I boot using my Fedora 41 drive, it works too!

If you are converting old laptops to ChromeOS Flex because they wont run Windows 11, this adapter works! It is NOT a Realtek chipset (which most are, and dont work with Chrome OS), so these work great in laptops when converted! My only "complaint" is I dont like the style with the antenna hanging off since it can be broken, and you should remove it everytime you put the laptop in a bag, but thats a small price to pay to reuse old laptops!

Worked perfectly for 2 days and then just died. Unable to get it to work again. Don’t buy this, it’s very poor quality.

Hard to find one that works on chrome book. Wifi connection dropped out needed a dongle to continue using chrome book.. just plug and play.. Great speed,, Very happy..

This works as advertised, even on a Chromebook, in case your wifi signal is weak in certain parts of your home. Not too heavy to cause strain on the port, either.
