Cleans very well, along with a spot carpet cleaner machine. This pulled out the dirt and left the carpets smelling clean and fresh. Very good product , and for the price it’s excellent. I only needed two capfuls per clean and it’s a 5L bottle so will be lasting quite a while, very good value for money.

Just make sure to extract the water properly so it dries fast — otherwise it can stay a bit damp. Bought this in desperation to treat a persistent smell from our elderly cat repeatedly peeing in a corner. I had already tried other products which worked before on small areas but required multiple applications & several (expensive) bottles. Added the Dirtbusters solution to a domestic carpet cleaner, used the machine - smell gone!! Amazing. It did return as carpet dried (family think I am over sensitive to cat wee odour) so I repeated the process & it's now completely gone. Cat has stopped lurking around the area too. Super value, I still have enough to treat the whole house if I had to - with an elderly pet it's likely to be needed again. Wish I'd tried Dirtbusters first. I'm sure it could also be made up in a spray bottle for spot cleaning. The berry scent is also mild & pleasant.

Bought this to use with a commercial carpet cleaner. The dilution ratio is huge. I did the entire house twice over and used less than a litre of solution. As usual, the amount of dirt extracted was horrific! However the carpets looked much better and the cleaning solution left a pleasant smell behind.

Works well in my Vax carpet cleaner, lifting stains fairly well and removing of any cat odour - definitely helps make the house smell less of pets and leaves the carpet looking noticeably cleaner. Far better value than the Vax branded shampoo the manual says to use, as diluting it gets you a lot of use.
