I have had a calf injury for 6 months now. It would get better i would start to run steady and then it would go again after a couple of weeks. exasperation had set in. I remembered having ultrasound on my shoulder a few years ago and that worked. So rather than go to the Physio and pay £40 plus per session, take time off work etc. I did some research checked reviews and found this little beauty. i was sceptical at first, and slightly desparate for a fix. Two sessions the night before and i went for a steady run the next day and have never looked back. I am now racing again pain free. When i have had any twinges, niggles etc i have used this machine and not had to stop training or racing. If you buy this dont bother buying any Gel. i would recommend using it through some thin material initially then straight on the skin. This is fantastic for long term injuries and will help strains heal quicker.

My Iliotibial band (ITB) started causing pain in my left knee after a half marathon; so after initial rest & icing I started with some sports massage & this little gadget to get myself back in running form. After 2 weeks I successfully managed to complete 11miles without any knee pain so along with stretching, sports massage and this little machine I have turned a corner from being in pain at 2 miles to no pain in 11miles. Its a great asset in my running kit now and I still use it daily to ease any niggles that may be lurking.

I bought this device after having whiplash from a car accident. It wasn't cheap but recovery was slow and I wanted to help things along. Its not too noisy so I generally use watching the tv. As the manual states there is no quick fix but with regular application things definitely started getting better. I'm nearly 100% now but I still use it at the end of a stressful day to relieve the tightness that has built up. My wife and daughter have also used it to help with sports related injuries and said they felt it really helped.

Had the boots version for many years but they dont sell it in the uk any more. This one is great and d box is good. It's great for lower back pain, which in my case is related to my gluts and thigh muscles getting too tight. This ultrasound really relieves the pain within a 15min of going over d area with it. I hope it lasts us as many years as d boots one, and it looks of good quality enough to do so.

I have to say I was a little skeptical about this product initially but it is proving to be money very well spent. I bought it to help ease the symptoms of osteoarthritis - I am currently awaiting a full hip replacement and have been experiencing pain in my IT band - although I know I won't completely get rid of any pain until my op, it has certainly helped eased the pain. My husband is a keen mountain biker and regularly picks up aches and pains and he too has found it invaluable to help ease them. So all in all I am very impressed with this little device.

fell apart after two weeks waste of money..........its in the bin

I am satisfied with its functionality. Bought it to replace one which has served me well. I am disappointed that the carrying case is of no use. It is designed for a continental plug. The unit has been supplied fitted with a power supply with a UK standard plug which does fit the case. I would have preferred a continental plug. As it is the case is useless.
