Excellent
I needed to lower the pH in one of my aquariums to create the ideal environment for my new German Blue Rams, so I decided to give this product a try. It worked wonders! With just a small amount added to the water, the pH dropped from 7.8 to 6.4 almost instantly. This product is absolutely incredible, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quick and effective way to adjust their aquarium’s pH. It’s a game-changer!

Perfect, solved our fish loss problem
Our waters pH from the tap is at the highest range on the test kits. At the time we were new to fish keeping and so we had problems with ammonia and nitrite, the additives we used lowered the pH to the lower range, but did not remain constant so it fluctuated from high to low, which when reading up on pH levels was very bad for the fish. From our research for our fish it seemed that a lower pH would be better for them, and to maintain it. This product has done just that, and remains constant at the 6.5 level between water changes which we do once a month and with that water change as per the instructions we add a little more. We had put off buying it for a long time because when reading up on pH it seemed difficult to maintain and could be more harmful to the fish if the levels did not maintain themselves and many believed it best to leave well alone, but we had suffered far too many fish losses and was desperate to try and get the tank into balance to keep the remaining fish alive and there is no doubt in our minds that using this product was the turning point for us, and we haven't had any more fish losses since using it, in fact the opposite we now have 25 babies born in the tank.

Works well as long as you don’t expect instant results.
This is a good product, as long you don’t expect it to work over night. The way I found worked well was get containers for weekly water changes. Fill the containers the night before a water change, add all your water conditioner, and add this product. This also prevents shock, as the water becomes room temp, giving your thermostat less work to do, This stabilises the water in the containers to 7.0ph. Obviously it’s not an over night fix which some people think it is but give it 2-4 weeks of weekly water changes and you’ll have 7.0ph continuous. Hope this helps

Almost Killed My Fish
I have a 200L (50 gallon) tank with a single goldfish in. As per the instructions, i put 10 teaspoons worth in (2 teaspoons per 10 gal) for 48 hours my tank looked like milk, it was so cloudy. Woke up this morning and fish was struggling to breath. there was a thick white slime EVERYWHERE, in my filters, in my UV light and all along the gravel. I have done a huge water change and it is still white. If my fish dies i will be absolutely heart broken. I did not take a photo because my main priority was making sure my pet was okay. Why on earth would you tell me to put that much in and say its fine for water changes if it's going to do that. Please, please do not buy this, i'm in tears, i really hope my fish doesn't die from this.

Three Stars
Does what it says but wiped my shrimp colony fast. Be careful with sensitive fish and invertebrates.
