I am a club player and always use double yellow for my own games, but I was introducing the game to a beginner and bought these. Obviously they do not require the warm up that DY would so for a beginner who cannot co-ordinate pace on the ball, these are excellent. I can imagine many beginners give up the game after being introduced with a DY .. such a shame. With these you can have a decent rally. I would thoroughly recommend them for this purpose.

The high quality I have come to expect from Dunlop squash balls is there and this Progress version is great as a step up in level from beginner grade - hangs in the air a bit longer than competition squash balls so good for those who are relatively new to squash and seeking to improve technique.

They are round, bounce a little bit and don't split when trodden on.

Seem usual good quality as Dunlop balls are but surprisingly they arrived loose not in a Dunlop bluster style pack as usual…

Got the progress ball as a few of us in our office we’re struggling to have a decent rally when using the professional balls. Since getting these ones, it gives us enough time to get to the ball and have a decent game. Doesn’t need to be warmed up either, so you can get straight to it.
