Excellent quality food!
My giant breed puppy was not doing well at all on the food the breeder had given me. She had very soft stools and she looked like a bag of bones. It didn't help that she didn't seem to like the food either. I changed to Royal Canin and have NOT looked back. She loves this kibble and has gained weight and is now in fantastic shape as well as her stools being good and firm. I would definitely say this brand of dog food is well worth paying that little bit more for to have a healthy, happy puppy and peace of mind for me too.

Excellent dog food.
Excellent dog food. Good value for money. The food really suits my Akita puppy's system. Her coat is shiny like silk and she no longer gives off smelly wind and her poo is now normal. My previous Akita also had Royal Canine all his life and he thrived on it to.

Reliable for Giant breeds
We have been using this with our St Bernard puppy after it was weaned onto it by the breeder. We understand the contents are not rated highly on dog food analysis websites due to the main ingredient being "dehydrated poultry meat" with beet pulp and maize, however it is one of the only foods on the market specifically formulated for Giant Breeds as opposed to "large breeds". We will move onto a better food when he has stopped growing but as while big breeds grow the nutritional balance is so important we will play it safe and trust in what is a premium brand. The difference being while there may be fillers and the source of the meat content may not be as good as some of its competitors we are happy it has the correct mineral balance to raise our pup. He has had no issues, his stool is solid and he has a good coat; most importantly he loves it so what more could we want?

Probably the Very Best you Can Get For Your Puppy
Probably the Very Best you Can Get For Your Puppy, and for your adult dog too. We've always trusted & relied on Royal Canin for all of ours and always will do. I don't think you can give your pup a better start, particularly during the vitally important growing period when their skeleton & joints are forming - so, so, very important & especially with giant or large breeds.

We have always used Royal canin for our dogs we have a puppy Dogue de bordeux and needs the right food due to his rapid growth. This gives this and also keeps our dog to the correct weight allowing him to look slim and not overweight. His coat his always shiny and it keeps well either in the bag or in a plastic storage container.

If you have a Giant Dog breed, there are quite a few products available in the market but if you want your pet to have a long and healthy life and care about them you have to go with Royal Canin. You can see the difference by yourself. It is the best that you can give your dog. No Vet will tell you not to give Royal Canin - It is highly recommended by all Vets. I have a Great Dane and I started giving him Royal Canin right from the time I brought home and you can see the results yourself. He is not even 4 months old.
